Something made me leave my room. I had no idea why, but I found myself walking out of my room and down the hallway until I was at the top of the stairs before I made a stop.

A man sat across Ethan. Brown skin, with hair that made him look more like a white gentleman than the brown skinned man he was. He had folders of files in his hands, and another by his side on the couch he sat.

Ethan, on the other hand, sat quietly, his both hands clasped together like a man silently counting his next steps. Neither of them seemed to notice my presence.

"I think it's time you considered proposing to Miss. Frost," the young man suggested.

My heart jumped.

"Don't you think that's a bit too early?" Ethan asked, like the man's suggestion wasn't in the schedule.

"I believe with the situation at hand, this is the time to make your union official," the man explained.

"And you think that would solve the chaos going on?" Ethan scoffed. "It would only make people assume the marriage isn't real."
