Seeing that Hazel's brother wasn't going to move, I had to intervene. I could not let my husband become a murderer.

I got in between the both of them, facing Hazel as I blocked the muzzle of his gun with my hands, "Please put the gun down, Hazel. This man is not worth it."

Hazel's eyes which had turned red in anger, stared at me, but I refused to move. I kept standing in front of Hazel until he eventually became calm. He let go of the trigger and lowered his gun.

I heaved a sigh of relief and turned to stare at the man who had refused to leave. Seeing the smirk on his face, I also became angry.

"Are you deaf or just a fool?" I yelled at him. "You're not leaving? Wait for me then."

Turning back to Hazel who was now staring at me in surprise, I said, "Don't do anything, Hazel. I'll be right back."

As I walked away, I heard Hazel chuckle, "My wife never ceases to amaze me."

I quickly met the children inside and took the biggest water gun they had.
