For a while, we remained in each other's arms, hugging as though there was no one else in the world. One hour later, I sat opposite Hazel, my hands supporting my chin, as I stared at him while he worked.

"I wondered who told me that this was a good idea," he muttered. "I'm certainly not getting any work done today."

I chuckled, "Enjoy my presence for a little longer. Mel would be here in a few minutes to pick me up."

"Why? Are you bored?" He asked.

I chuckled, "How can I be bored when you're right here? That's impossible, Hazel. I just need to do something briefly with her, I'll be back before you know it."

I said goodbye to Hazel ten minutes later and got into the same car with Mel.

"Okay, let's head to the hospital," I told her.

On our way to the hospital, she asked, "What are you going to do, Miranda? Would you come clean before your husband?"

"Let me hear from the doctor first and then I'll decide on what to do," I replied.
