12~ Unexpected visitor

Chris massaged the bridge of his nose, feeling his head ache.

He did not know when he had agreed to marry Lydia but suddenly she shows up saying they will get married this year.

“Chris? I came to pick you up so that I can choose my wedding dress.” Lydia said and Chris just looked at her helplessly. ‘I already have a wife ok?’ He thought inwardly as irritation flashed through him.

Chris’s mother had really gone overboard this time. She had one-sidedly promised Lydia marriage before he left for greener pastures years ago.

His mother did not tell him anything until weeks ago when he returned to suddenly find he had a ‘fiancée’ waiting for him. Chris immediately declined and told his mother that he had someone else in his heart.

He recalled the day they had argued about it.
