The moment the private jet soared high up into the sky, Chris regretted leaving.

Leaving Rita was a terrible mistake. ‘What if something happens to her?’ Chris thought to himself in agony.

“Tell them to turn around,” Chris ordered curtly, making his assistant freeze in shock.

“W-what Sir?” John stuttered, he could not believe his ears.

“Are you deaf??” Chris asked, turning his head to glare at John. “I said tell the pilot to turn around.”

“S-sir.. that’s not possible,” John said, wondering why his boss’s demons decided to start acting up when they were miles away from the ground..

‘What if he throws me out of the plane for not following his instructions?’ John shivered at the thought.

“Sir, why don’t we sort out this issue first? I’m sure Mrs Stevens will be fine in the few hours that you will be away,” John braced himself and said. He didn’t want to complicate matters by telling the pilot to turn around.
