In a big conference room at the Jones’ group corporation, several directors were having a board meeting. It was anything but peaceful for the directors were in a heated discussion due to the company’s stock prices that had abruptly plummeted the other week.
“We need answers! Mr Thompson, you assured us you could run the company well and take it to greater heights!” One of the directors said, hitting his fist on the table, making the other follow suit with complaints.
“Yeah! We risked a lot and it would really be bad if it was all for naught. What are your plans Mr Thompson? I heard the company hasn’t had any new projects since Miss Jones left.”
“That’s right.. the company hasn’t been doing well ever since we changed the CEO. We should have just kept Miss Jones.”
“Hmmmm.. aren’t you the ones who kicked her out because you were against a woman running the company?” A certain calm looking woman spoke, making the other directors turn to look at her.

How did it go?” Chris asked as he closed the file he was looking at while Rita closed the door and made herself comfortable. “It went great actually. Eric, like you said, took the bait. I now know the directors who worked with him in his scheme,” she said, sighing slightly. The whole ordeal was mentally draining for her. “Ok good. We just need to find evidence and have them locked up. Did the prick do anything to you?” Chris asked, gritting his teeth as his nostrils flared slightly. He had caught a whiff of a musky manly scent on Rita. “Uhm..” Rita cleared her throat as she tried to look at the surrounding tall buildings, the car had started off the moment she closed the door.
