45~ Road trip
It was only the next morning that Rita understood what Chris meant when he said Jasmine could be mischievous.
She had forced them to wear matching pink t-shirts with white jeans and bunny ear headbands. Although Chris refused to put the headband on his head, saying the pink t-shirt was as far as he could go.
Jasmine wanted to whine but one glance from Chris made her shut up. She wasn’t going to push it.
“Sweetheart, leave that. I’ll pack everything,” Chris told Rita who was trying to lift a cooler box and put it in the car.
They had packed a lot of necessities, since it was an adventurous trip.
Rita watched as Chris packed a portable gas stove into the car. Wondering what it was for but when he brought a basket full of pasta, canned food like tuna, beans, tomatoes and spices, a few pots and spoons , she understood. They would cook their own food.
This was her first camping trip and she couldn’t help but be excited.
