Chapter 1

Author: Cold Prince
I enjoyed my time in the bathroom because it meant I didn’t have to face him, nor would I be reminded of certain terrifying memories.

But as I stared blankly at the foggy mirror above the sink, even the hazy steam couldn’t obscure the glaring marks on my body.

My eyes reddened as I stared at my reflection in the mirror until the slow, deliberate sound of knocking came from the door.

"You’ve been in there a while. If you don’t come out soon, I’ll go in."

I was speechless.

It wasn’t the first time Ethan had walked into the bathroom unannounced.

Panicked, I quickly turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around myself.

Breakfast was neatly laid out on the table as usual, though Ethan likely didn’t have time to eat.

The morning news droned on in the background as he effortlessly adjusted his tie with practiced precision.

Noticing me staring at him, he leaned down and tapped my nose with a smirk.

"Like what you see? Next time, you can tie it for me."

I turned my face away, avoiding his gaze.

He chuckled lightly, unfazed, and deliberately picked up the glass of milk I’d been drinking, taking a sip right where my lip mark was left.

"Be good. Wait for me to come back. Tonight, I’ll take you to look at wedding dresses."

Ethan left shortly after.

I stared blankly at the television for a long while.

Then, in a sudden burst of anger, I grabbed the glass he had just drunk from and hurled it at the television.

The screen only trembled slightly, but the glass shattered across the floor with a loud crash.

The sound started the house staff, who cried out in alarm.

I hugged my knees and sat frozen in place, tears streaming down my face as I cried.

Ethan was once my worst nightmare.

Back in high school, he was the ringleader of the group that bullied me the most.

He would stand above me, looking down with disdain, as he tossed all my books from my bag down the stairwell.

He orchestrated my isolation, ensuring no one dared to befriend me.

With just a word from him, a group of girls dragged me into the bathroom and slapped me across the face.

As long as Ethan took the lead in tormenting me, no one dared to step in.

After all, he was the son of the CEO of a major corporation.

Our school even had an entire building donated by his family.

When he mocked me openly, it became a trend in the class to pick on me.

I heard that many of the girls had a crush on him, drawn to his looks and the fact that he was their idea of the perfect man.

But to me, he was nothing but the demon who left me sleepless, night after night.

And this person, seven years after graduation, suddenly said he wanted to marry me.

I still couldn’t shake the habit of trembling whenever I saw Ethan, even after sharing the same bed with him for three weeks.

There was no one to help me. When my mother found out someone of Ethan’s status wanted to marry me, she couldn’t stop celebrating her “good fortune.”

Ethan seemed to have changed cars again. This time, the backseat was particularly spacious.

Story was good until I couldn’t read it anymore unless I buy a ‘short story membership’ so maybe that should be posted somewhere in the description so readers know this from the beginning.

I was speechless."That day, I didn’t say or do anything. You just lost your mind. I turned her into the one who had hurt me and made her my tormentor so I could push her away. That was all it took. I waited for Ethan to finally abandon me. But the cycle never ended. I remembered, then forgot. Over and over again. “Ethan, I turned you into the worst kind of monster. Did you ever feel wronged? Why didn’t you just let me go, Ethan?” I murmured.Tears dripped onto my phone screen, blurring everything. I couldn’t see anymore. Then, suddenly, someone crouched beside me. It was Julian. But Julian wasn’t real. He had never been real. He was just a figment of my imagination. And now, he was here again—because Ethan was gone, and I hadn’t taken my medication. Looking back, it was all so obvious. The medication had been mixed into the milk. Lily appeared because I threw a fit, refusing to take my pills. The moment I stopped, the hallucinations began. The day I convinced myself I was pregnant? Ethan already gave in, agreeing not to lace my mi

  • Forced to Marry My Bully   Chapter 15

"Yeah, and there was an ambulance too. I saw it from the window during class." "What happened? Give us the details." "A girl was carried out, covered in blood. It was terrifying." "Which class was she from? Which grade?" "I don’t think I should say… But man, the scene—damn, it was brutal." "Come on, stop being vague! Was it an attempted murder?" "I’m telling you, it was even worse than that." "Then spit it out already! What exactly happened?" "I don’t want to offend anyone by saying too much. Forget it, I’m not talking about it." I was speechless. Was it really something that couldn’t be talked about? I lowered my gaze to my stomach. Thinking back, I had assumed I was pregnant that day. But my cycle had always been irregular, and nausea was a common symptom of heatstroke in the summer. The ridiculous part? I jumped to the conclusion without even taking a pregnancy test. Wasn’t that absurd? I had been so convinced. Yet the truth was that I could never g

  • Forced to Marry My Bully   Chapter 14

With Ethan gone, I had a lot more freedom. At the very least, he wasn’t constantly hovering around me, and I could do whatever I wanted. There were quite a few travelers from home at the lodge, and I ended up befriending a younger girl. She was about sixteen or seventeen, here on a summer vacation trip with her family. The morning sky had been endless and clear, not a single cloud in sight. By afternoon, heavy clouds rolled in, shrouding the mountain in gray. By evening, a sudden blizzard hit, plunging everything into darkness. Ethan’s climbing group was large, and soon, panic spread through the lodge. Several families were saying they had lost contact with their relatives—no response, no signal. The hotel lobby was filled with anxious murmurs. A staff member reassured everyone to stay calm, explaining that many of the climbers were experienced mountaineers. If they were caught in the storm, they would know how to handle it far better than the average person. Fo

  • Forced to Marry My Bully   Chapter 13

"Are you cold?" I was already wrapped in layers upon layers, yet he still tried to drape a scarf over me. I dodged away. Behind me, he chuckled. "Why do you look like a little bear?" I kept quiet. My breath curled into the air, forming a misty cloud. We were staying at a lodge at the foot of Mount Taken, a place clearly designed for the wealthy. Everything was top-tier, down to the smallest amenities. It was the off-season for tourism, but I still ran into a couple of fellow travelers from home. "Where do you want to go tomorrow?" He spread butter onto his toast with precise, effortless strokes. Whenever I did it, it came out crooked and uneven. Watching him, though, was strangely pleasing. With a sigh, he swapped my messy toast for the one on his plate. The lodge had a hunting dog—big and intimidating at first glance, but after a few days, I realized it was just a fool who wagged its tail for food. So, I took the piece of toast Ethan had just prepared for me
