"Hazel, meet your brother, Dominic Campbell" Matthew Campbell introduced his adopted son to his daughter.

Little Hazel, with her light brown eyes, looked at Dominic curiously. She just lost her mother, and her father adopted a son. She didn't question or ask anything. She was just four years old, while Dominic was fourteen.

She liked him at first glance. She liked his Grey eyes with black specks inside. His eyes looked intense and Intresting at the same time.

"Hello Brother Dominic" she greeted him in her cute little girl voice.

Dominic instantly liked the little girl.

Four years later....

Hazel is glaring at Dominic who spends more time with Matthew, while Hazel was ignored by her only parent. She was taken care by the maids and servants. She longed for Matthew's attention, but didn't get any. She studied hard and came first in every class. She was a model student, yet her father never appreciated her. It was always Dominic.

"Haze, here, I bought you your favorite strawberry milkshake" Dominic offered her the drink he bought for her. She used to love strawberry milkshake. Dominic used to make it a point to buy her one whenever he passes by the store where she preferred her milkshake. But now, she couldn't seems to stop hating him for taking away her father from her.

"I don't need anything from you. Go drink it yourself" she pushed the drink away, making it splash all over the floor.

The servants gasped with surprise, while Dominic was frowning deeply.

She knows she was being rude. She is not usually this rude, not even to the maids and servants. But with Dominic, she was feeling bitter and jealous. Why was he so favored when she was ignored.

After that, she was never polite with Dominic. She barely tolerated him. That only made her father ignore her more. She distanced herself from Dominic.

When Hazel turned sixteen....

"Miss Martha, is he here yet?" Hazel asked the butler about her father for the tenth time. Its her birthday and all her friends were waiting for her to cut the cake. Matthew promised her that he would come. But its well past nine, but he is nowhere to be seen.

Martha looked at Hazel sadly. The same look she gives whenever Matthew disappointed Hazel. Birthdays, school special days, and everything else. If its about Hazel, its not important to Matthew.

"He forgot, again" Hazel murmured as her eyes burned with unshed tears. She is done crying and she doesn't want to cry anymore.

"Miss.." Martha tried to console Hazel, but the young girl shook her head.

"Its ok. I am not Dominic, so I am not important. Come on, lets cut my birthday cake, you and me, like always" Hazel said feeling angry, Jelous and bitter.

She stabbed the cake more than cut it like the gentle girl she was like. Her longing for father's affection and acceptance is gradually taking over her personality, making her angry and bitter. Her hatred for Dominic grew stronger than ever.

"Babe, ignore them. This is the best time to drink and get wasted" her classmate Nick encouraged her and handed her a spiked drink. She knows it was spiked. She wouldn't have accepted it if her heart didn't feel like its breaking into pieces and the pain felt like her heart is bleeding. She downed the drink at one go.

Hazel's eighteenth birthday.....

"Babe, you are the best. Best drinks, best food, and no adult supervision. You throw the best parties ever" Nick slurred.

He tried his best to make Hazel his girlfriend, but she never took that plunge and slept around like a whore. Despite her rebellious nature, she is still a virgin.

"This is the last past party. We all graduated from high-school and are ready to go to university. So its more like a good bye" one of the girls who bootlick Hazel whined. Hazel don't like any of them. She merely tolerate them, just because they suit to her bad girl persona.

Hazel didn't comment. Her head was feeling dizzy, and she is confused. This is still her first drink, but the dizziness felt off.

"Babe, you look tired. Come on, let me take you to your room" Nick offered.

Hazel shook her head. This is her house, and she gave the servants the day off. Her father is absent, no surprises there.

"It's alright. I can go on my own. You guys have fun" she mumbled before stumbling back to her room on the second floor. She didn't notice that Nick followed after her until he locked the door.

"Nick? What are you doing here? Get out" she snapped at him. Her voice came out weak because of the effect of whatever she was given by nick. He laughed at her words.

"Come on babe. Look at you. So hot and untouched. I have been your friend for the two years now, but you never let me touch you. Why is that? You don't mind when your brother Dominic touches you. But why can't I? Still a sexy virgin at eighteen? It's a sin" Nick said while shamelessly unbuttoning his shirt.

Its true that Dominic keeps dragging her away from her wild parties with her friends more often than Hazel liked. When Hazel refuses to follow after him, he didn't mind carrying her away despite her protests. Nick never liked that, and neither did Hazel. She even bit Dominic on his shoulder when he refused her from drinking more alcohol.

"Nick, you know Dominic will kill you if you touch me. Don't get killed" Hazel threatened Nick. She noticed a flicker of fear in his eyes. Nick is scared of Dominic. That might be the reason why he never attempted to touch her, until today.

"Babe, didn't you tell me that he is away for work? By the time he comes back, we can have a good time" Nick replied boldly. Hazel mentioned in passing that Dominic is not home and they can party at her house. Now her big mouth came back to bite her hard.

Nick erased the distance between them and tried to touch her, but her room door is violently kicked open from outside and a furious Dominic stood at the threshold. The sight of him relaxed Hazel, and it scared Nick.

"Bro..." before Nick could speak a word, Dominic is punching him mercilessly like the monster that he is. Dominic is whispered to have shady dealings with the mafia. She doesn't know the details, only knows that he is dangerous.

Two men walked inside and dragged Nick's unconscious body away after Dominic broke all his bones and gave him two black eyes and a disfigured nose.

Hazel is still feeling hot from what ever drug was given to her. But infront of her hatred for Dominic, that felt manageable. She noticed the music downstairs has stopped abruptly, and its completely silent.

'Looks like the party is over' she thought.

"What are you doing Haze? Why the hell are you destroying yourself like this? I know you are doing all of this to piss off dad. What do you want Haze? What do you want so that you would stop all of this?" he demanded angrily.

Hazel had enough of him acting all high and mighty. She turned like this because of him.

"I want you gone. Away from this house, and from my life, forever"
