Chapter 22

Jessica was slightly stunned. She took the garments and realized that it was really a set of sleeping robes. She shot the man a confused look. Why would she change into sleeping robes for a movie?

“Don’t worry. The robes are newly bought. They don’t recycle items here.”

This kind of private theatre was not built to earn movie tickets. She did not have to pick a fault in the details.

Blake nodded at the room behind her and signaled her to go in. Jessica walked in with the sleeping robe and she realized that the room was equipped with a shower.

She then emerged in the sleeping robe to see that Blake was already lying down on the couch.

The movie was starting, and the intro music was playing. It was an old movie that screamed of nostalgia.

Blake looked at Jessica and reached out to her. She put her hand on his and he pulled her into his arms.

The lights in the room dimmed down, so the silver screen became the only light source.
