Chapter 33

Blake came home a little late today.

After dinner, Jessica was playing flashcards with Winson in the living room.

In the past, whenever he had to work overtime or engage in social activities, he would give her a call or at least a text. However, ever since they argued, he only informed Ms. Susan.

Every time Jessica pointed at the picture on the card, Winson was able to accurately say the name and even spell it in English.

Jessica and Blake were still not talking, so when he put two big baskets beside her, she was shocked. She looked up at him in confusion.

“Gifts from a client. If you find a use for them, take them. Otherwise, just give them to someone else.” Blake then sat down on the couch and removed his tie. His face had exhaustion smeared all over it.

Jessica unwrapped one of the baskets. Winson was also interested, so he crawled into her lap and his petite hands reached out for the basket.
