I had woken up to the soft sound of the door closing. Lucian's scent permeating the room confirmed that he was back. I went back to sleep when he proceeded to the bathroom. He usually took a shower before joining me in bed.

Lucian has been returning very late these days. Now, laying on my side, I felt his butterfly kisses on my exposed arm. He was in the mood.

With a sleepy smile, I turned and opened my arms for my mate.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"A little after two in the morning," he nipped my lip before replying.

"That late?"

"Technically, it's early," he said cheekily.

"Is that how it's going to be? Like old married couples? You coming to bed late?" I teased him. "Maybe I should borrow some of those toys which rain has."
