“Where’s Eva?” I asked one of my maids as soon as I entered the house.

“S-She’s not here yet, Sir…”

I squinted at my wristwatch. “It’s already eleven o’clock and she’s still out there? What the hell is Mila doing?”

I reached for my phone and dialed Eva’s number. It rang a few times before she answered it.

“Hello?”
