Chapter Eleven

Eva's’s POV

“This will be our house from now on.”After our wedding, Massimo took me to a different mansion, different from where we lived before. It was a new mansion near the hospital where I practice.

It actually has no difference from the one where our wedding was held. It has high ceilings, glass walls, and gigantic crystal chandeliers hanging on the ceiling. Guards are patrolling everywhere in the house. There were many housemaids and personal chefs,

There are more than twenty. “Why did we have to move here?”I had to muster the courage to ask him while we were eating our dinner.

“Because it’s closer to your hospital. Don't you want that since you told me that you still want to work and study?”

“Y-Yes, thank you for considering it.”

“Tomorrow, Mila will always go with you to the hospital. She will stay by your side throughout the day until you go home.” He said again.

I nodded. “I understand…”

“You need to be here as soon as you’re done with your work, no excuse,” he said.

His phone suddenly rang. He grabbed it from the table beside his plate and answered the call.

After eating, Mila guided me upstairs to my room. She opened the enormous double doors and beckoned me to step inside.

My eyes widened in shock at how huge and luxurious the bedroom looked. The space is dressed in rich fabrics with subtle, elegant detailing. I must commend the fact that Massimo has great taste.

“This will be your room from now on, Miss Eva. The walk-in closet is right beside the bathroom. If you need something, please don’t hesitate to call me.”

“Thank you, Mila .”

After that, Mila left the room. I looked around it and sat on the soft mattress. At least I’d still get to work tomorrow.

I suddenly checked my phone to see if dad had texted me, but I was a bit disappointed as I didn't find anything. I heaved a sigh as I just decided to take a bath first before sleeping. Both the walls and the floor of the bathroom are just so dramatic and high-end.

There was also a custom-designed silver travertine tub, which sits in front of a large window that offers a view of the city. It includes a trough sink top that matches the tub, along with shower walls and a floating vanity wall.

I removed all of my clothes as I soaked myself in the tub filled with hot water. Maybe Mila already prepared it for me while I was having my dinner.

Dad didn’t even call me, not even Dave. I wonder if they still care about me. I miss them so much even though I just arrived here. Tears started running down my face as I leaned my head on the tub. It feels so lonely here. I’m already losing hope because I don’t think anyone still cares about me. I feel like I’m the only one here. If only my mom were still alive, maybe…

“ Mom I wish you were here

Maybe I’ll have someone by my side.

After taking a bath, I covered my body with a thick white towel and walked since I forgot to bring my clothes

But the room suddenly felt a sudden change in the air, as I suddenly felt someone's gaze…

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh…I screamed out loudly..I was surprised to see Massimo sitting on the bed with his arms crossed while staring directly at me. “W-What are you doing here?!” I asked as I covered myself with my hands.

Don't you think you should have knocked before coming into someone’s room you make it seem normal when you do things without people’s permission” I scolded

“Excuse me.. You are asking why I am? This is my house, and it also includes my room. I can choose to be anywhere I want, so why shouldn't I be here? So this is our room.

“O-Our room?! B-But I thought it’s

There's no harm in sharing a room or bed

“N-No, I don’t want that. I-i mean I know that but am not ready to share a room with you, I’m not used to it yet, I can’t sleep knowing that a stranger is beside me…”

“Then get used to it.” He replied as he started walking towards me.

I moved backward while still covering myself. “W-What are you doing? D-Don’t go near me!”

“I didn’t know you had such a substantial flawless body. May I see it?” he asked teasingly although he wasn’t wearing any emotion on his face.

“N-No! D-Don’t come near me, please!!”

He looked straight into my eyes without any emotion. “This is our wedding night, don’t you think we should be doing what newlywed couples usually do?”

“N-No! Please don’t do this to me, I-I’m still young… I-I’m not ready yet…” I mumbled.

“And does it look like I care?”

“W-What?”

I stepped backward until my back hit the wall.

A devilish smirk appeared on his face when he realized how helpless I was. “Looks like you are now trapped with me forever you can’t escape me now?”

“Don’t you know that it's already been two months now since I last had sex? I’m already craving it. And one of the reasons I married you is also that I want to have someone to satisfy me every night.” He cornered me by putting his hands on both of my sides. “You are mine now, Eva.”
