Even though Linda and I never really got along she has always wanted everything I want ,while Dave on the other despite being half siblings he has always shown me love and treated me as a part of his family

"Mom! Dad! We are home!" Eva clenched her fists beside her as she heard her stepsister's voice from the entrance of the living room.

She immediately rushed out as soon as she Heard Dave's voice!!

"Oh my goodness! ! Look, Tom,the apples of my eye are back home

Theresa dashed towards her son at the center of the living room, hugging him tightly and placing kisses all over his face.

"Hahaha, Mom, stop it, I'm no longer a child," Dave laughed softly, hugging his Mother back.

"Come here, Princess," Tom said as he walked with widened arms towards the mother-daughter -son duo with a large smile.

"Dad, I missed you all so much," Linda ran into her father's arm, burying her face in his chest.

"We missed you too, Princess, come on

Let's go have lunch. We have a lot to discuss.

“Eva stood quietly near the staircase, almost forgotten.

“ Dave turned around in search of Eva his face lit up instantly,

Linda!Tom called out to her in a stern voice!! don't forget that she's your elder sister accord her some respect,

To avoid more issues Eva had to step in,

She caught a glimpse of Linda's

sinister smile towards her as she was lovingly wrapped in the arms of her mother

I was already running late to the hospital I needed to avoid being scolded for at work,I have already spent all my time trying to please my Stepmother.

“On getting to the hospital I saw jay getting off his bike”

Since we both are also practicing at the same hospital.

“Jay I greeted ,it seem that you were in a rush you didn't get the time to take proper look at the mirror he said,”

“Eva had to take a closer look at the hospital’s mirror and realised how unkept she looked she quickly had to make some adjustments immediately before getting to work

“Thank God that i got in time before my shift time”

I wore my coat and began to work on my task for the day ,the hospital seemed usually quite than before

Lilly assigned the ward and patients I have to attend to!

“Eva, can you help me assist Doctor Damien for today at the ICU,I don't feel too good,lily asked,I readily agreed,was so glad that I get to work beside one the hospital best nurosurgeon,Even though I knew I had a quiet crush on him,I had never allowed myself to think too deeply about it because of my relationship with Marcus.

“I had to finish up what I was doing before going to the specific ward she asked me,

Just when I was about to carry the tray of medicine ,a man suddenly bumped past Me,and everything came crashing down to the floor,since I was already in a terrible mood,

With my blood boiling and my fist shaking with anger, I walked towards that man and grabbed him by his arm to stop him from walking, "H-Hey Mister!”

He stopped walking and ,he looked at my hand that was holding his arm and finally faced me. My eyes widened as soon as I saw his face and realized how handsome he was,how tall he is, he's already towering over me. His cold blue eyes stared intently at me, I can't even see any emotion on his face, i-is he a robot?

“Where you not taught not to touch people without there permission”He asked, that's when I realised I was still holding onto him I stared blankly at him as I gulped. What is happening to me? Why does his aura feel intimidating? He's definitely…”

Q SO HANDSOME as hell but I don't know why he looks so intimidating even though I don't really know him yet”

“I-I don’t care about who you are but all I know is that you should apologize to someone when you do something to them”

Eva’s POV

Even with fear I said while trying to maintain eye-to-eye contact with him while he stood there with his expressionless face.

He raised his brow and asked as he looked at me, “So you don’t really know me?”

“I don’t know you,? Do I really have to know who you are?”

I don’t even know where I got my bravery from I just stared at him although my hands were already shaking his gaze was very sharp that it feels my soul would leave my body.

“He was already get alot of attention, I looked around as everyone is beginning to whisper”

“You seem quite brave, huh? Well, let’s see how brave you are.”

Without any warning, he grabbed me by the waist and pressed his lips on mine. My eyes widened, and I froze in place. I placed my hands on his chest to push him off but he was quite strong,

When he finally let go of me, that’s when I realized what just happened. I raised my hand and slapped him on his right cheek. “Y-You insolent fellow! W-Why did you do that?!”see you around some other time.”he smirked

And walked away,all I just wanted to do at this moment was just to punch his face, but my body won't just move. I stared with my mouth open as his back disappeared completely.

“YOU PERVERTED FOOL”.

I stopped cursing him in my head when jay suddenly tapped my shoulder

“Eva….Are you okay?”

“I shook my head I'm fine,

You never told me you already found a boyfriend after your break up with Marcus,I mean the man that kissed you a while ago
