Reality

After a period of five years, Mira—who was now going by Alice Morgan—was set free from her situation. All of her treatments eventually produced a response from her, with the exception that she completely lost her memory.

In order for her to adapt to her surroundings and become triggered by people she must have met years ago, the doctors determined that letting her go was the best course of action.

A year ago, she obtained employment as a nanny in California, where she was tasked with caring for a pair of twins that had been adopted from Saint Patrick's orphanage by Mr. Max Earliton, the younger brother of Mr. Antonio Earliton. However, she had lost the memory for those names. Who would have imagined that Max would hire a girl who everyone assumed was dead? The world was such a small place. Since he had never met her, he was unable to recognize her.

After meeting the love of his life, Max Earliton eventually gave up his previous habits of having sex with various women.

Luckily, he married her, and she turned out to be the best thing that had ever happened to him. Her charms included being stunning, seductive, elegant, wise, and possessing a round ass which always drove him crazy.

Everything fell apart when she passed away giving birth to his child, who also passed away alongside his mother. In an attempt to ease his grief, he adopted Daniel and Andrew a few years ago only because he was unable to handle losing both a mother and a child at the same time.

"Sire, when the kids get home from school, what are they going to have for lunch?" Alice enquired.

"Anything you have to offer, Alice, please feel free to make it delicious. Do not cook all that crap hmmm Instead of allowing such a lousy chef like you to handle the cooking, I should even hire a cook." Max was miffed.

"I sincerely apologize, sir. I swear to improve the flavor of the food I make." Alice answers.

"Mamita! Mamita!" Two adorable pumpkins yelled out, running towards Alice While Max stared approvingly at them, he began to feel envious. The pumpkins ran all the way to Alice, who opened her hands to plant an embrace.

"Come on, you two did not see your padre, she is not your mama hope you know that." Max said, envious. Since Alice came, his children had never known a time without him. They spent more time with Alice, whom they both considered to be their mother; she loved them just as much and cared for them as if they were her own children. However, Alice had forgotten that she was the mother of a set of twins that belonged to a man named Antonio Earliton, who she assumed broke her heart.

"Why is papi always jealous, Mamita?" Andrew asked as Alice held them both up, her round, sky-blue eyes making him even cuter; their eye colors were exactly the same and they resembled one another.

"Kid, what did you just say? This lowlife has no right to make me jealous."His reply struck a deep chord with Mira, asking why he would refer to her as a lowlife.

"Be quiet! Go say hello to Papà while I go get you two some pasta. Papi is not jealous; he just missed you both, okay?" Even after hearing his dehumanizing remarks, Alice stood up for him. She drops the twinsdown while she took her journey to the kitchen.

“Yea !!! Pasta, we always love your pasta Mami.” Andrew and Daniel celebrated while Alice turned around a gave them a huge smile at least someone loved her cooking.

Jealous Max became more jealous than ever before, he just complained about her cooking and now the kids are celebrating over her food? He knew that he was slowly losing them to her and he had to do something about it.

‘Who does she think she is? They are my kids not hers, they grew up with me so why do they adore her more than I their father?”Max pondered within himself.

“Lunch is served kids, come and get it.” Alice alerted the kids who ran all the way from their bed room just, their tiny feets stormed the ground of the stair case, you could also hear them laughing and arguing while making it to the dinning room.

“Yea!!! pasta mamita,” Andrew and Daniel blushed adorably, while Alice helped them to their seat.

“Yes kids and guess what, I also prepared some meatballs!!!” Alice said, the kids then celebrated all over again, banging the table with their hands.

“Kids table manners!!!” Max yelled from the living room which was a little bit far from the dinning area.

“Must you always be a fun spoiler?” Andrew yelled back, Alice and Daniel chuckled, Andrew loved making fun of his father, especially whenever Alice was around.

“Alice I want to see you right away.” Max called.

“Ooooow!!! your in trouble.” The kids said at the same time.

“I'm on my way.” Alice responded, “Pray for me kids.” Alice said sarcastically while doing the trinity sign on her chest.

“Go in peace Mamita, may the lord be with you.” Daniel said sarcastically with an adorable smile on his face, his chubby cheeks sent shivers down her spine.

“Here I am sir.” Alice said, while humbly bending her neck with her face pointed to the ground and her hands crossed behind her.

Max lifted up his head from his laptop, then pulled his glasses to look at Mira, he then pulled out his glasses, showing Alice his adorable blue eyes.

“Alice, you are becoming a bad influence to my kids,” Max complained.

“I don't understand your statement sire.” Alice said confusedly as she still kept her face to the ground.

“Oh so you are telling me that you didn't just hear what my kid just called me, or what he said to me when he arrived from school,”

“Sorry sir, but I don't see how that is my fault.” Alice said.

“You don't see how that is your fault, hmm, Alice may I remind you that those kids spend a lot of time with you, so why do you think it's not your fault. They must have picked it up from you maybe when you are talking to those boyfriends of yours.”

“I'm sorry sire, but I don't have a boyfriend, they are kids, they learn new words everyday, maybe they must have gotten them from school.” She replied, still maintaining her composure.

“Well I don't care about that, what I really want you to know is that, you are becoming a bad example to my kids, I don't really need you here anymore, you are fired.” He uttered in a non chalant tone. Alice received the shock of her life, her heart immediately shattered on hearing his bewildering words, what did she do? How could he be so heartless?

“Sir, I love those kids, I can never do anything to hurt their upbringing, I promise to change the way I relate with them sir, please don't sack me.” I assured, still astounded by his unbelievable utterance.

“I don't care if you love or hate them, it's non of my business, what I really want you to do is leave us, you are doing more harm than good.” He complained.

“Ok how do you think the kids will feel if you sack me,”

“The kids will do just fine Alice, I'll transfer a sum of a million dollars into your account, leave and never show your face again.” He said, thinking that Alice was doing her job for the money, not knowing that she actually cared a lot for those kids.

“Thanks for your generosity sir, but I haven't worked enough to get such amount from you, I can't betray those kids for money, we have a great connection.” Max lost his words, no one has ever refused his money, who does she think she is?

“Alice, I don't want to have this conversation with you anymore, leave my house in the next 24 hours before I get the security on you.” Max said, getting up from his seated position to go meet his kids.

He was indeed a good father, he didn't want anything or anyone to come between him and his kids, Mira was a really tall barrier to that, so sacking her was the best option, was he really doing it because of that or was he just jealous?

Alice felt uncomfortable leaving the kids but she had to do it so that she would not impure the wrath of Max who sounded really serious. She had been working with him for almost a year now, and she knows Max to be a man of his words.

Just as Alice went upstairs to get her luggages, a familiar male figure comes to visit the home of Max after such a long time that they hadn't seen eachother.

“Oh Brother Antonio, it's been such a long time, it's so good to have you here.”
