LOGINLiam's POV
As soon as Emily stepped out of the meeting room, the atmosphere immediately felt looser. The marketing team busied themselves packing up documents, a few staff members whispering quietly about how “lucky” they were to land a talent of Emily’s caliber.I wasn’t surprised. She really was on a sharp rise. Every brand seemed to be competing to make her the face of their campaign. Though I’d heard she had faded a little some time ago, maybe she was being sought after again nowSienna's POV I took a breath and my heart felt really calm. "I want to be a mother again, Liam." Liam stopped walking. Looked at me with shock on his face. "Sienna." I shook my head gently. I did not want him to get the idea. "Don't worry that is not what I mean!" I held his hands in mine. My voice was soft. "I met a boy a few days ago then I saw where he lived and his younger brothers and sisters. I saw how they were living." My eyes started to fill with tears because the memories were still really clear. "They do not have food, they are sick and some of them can not even get the help they need because their parents can not afford it." I looked into Liam's eyes. My heart felt heavier. "I keep thinking about them. I wonder if our son Noah was still here, maybe he would want us to help them
Sienna's POVThe sea breeze was really calm that day. I had been feeling weird since morning so I kept looking at the clock on Liliana's wall. Then I would look at the path to the yard."He should be here any minute now."Liliana smiled at me because I was walking back and forth in the house. She could see that I was getting impatient."I know.""I still cannot wait."I had just finished talking when I heard a car coming from away. My heart started beating and I ran outside. The black car that I knew well stopped in front of the gate. The door. Liam got out with a small bag.Our eyes. We just looked at each other for a few seconds. Then I ran to him without thinking. My heart knew where it wanted to be."Liam."He opened his arms and I threw myself into them. I held him tight. It felt like he would disappear if I let go. Liam p
Sienna’s POV "Yes." He nodded proudly. His eyes lit up like a kid who just got a toy. "I'm in grade." A big smile spread across my face when he said that. He was so proud of himself. It was really cute. "Whats your favorite subject in school?" "Drawing." He did not hesitate at all. I could tell he was excited. "I love drawing the ocean." His eyes sparkled when he talked about drawing. For a moment I forgot about his pain. "I like drawing dolphins." He smiled shyly. I could not help but laugh. "That's amazing." "When your knee gets better I would love to see your drawings." I really meant it. The thought of seeing his artwork made me happy. Reno's face lit up. He looked so
Sienna's POV The sky was nice and clear that day. Warm sunlight spread over the beach, making the white sand shine under my feet. After I helped Liliana clean up the house, I chose to go for a walk by the beach. William was mending a fence in the yard while Liliana gave water to the plants."I'm going to the beach for a while."Liliana grinned nicely. Her eyes watched me as I grabbed my hat."Okay. Don't forget to wear your hat."I gave a small nod before walking to the soft light sand. The nice sea wind touched my face with each step. Not far from the beach a group of kids was playing with a ball. Their happy giggles mixed well with the calm beat of the waves."Auntie Sienna!"One of the kids waved happily. His big grin made me grin right away."Come play with us!"I gave a quiet laugh. Their joy was hard to ignore."Sure."
Sienna's POV I stared at her for a few long moments. Feeling softly grew in my heartBefore I knew it, I held my arms close to her. The hug felt normal."Thanks," I said softly. My voice shook with emotion. She hugged me back and softly patted my back. The nice touch made the weight in my heart feel less."When your book is done, I wanna be the first one to read it." Hope shined in her eyes.A gentle giggle came from me. The idea didn't feel like a dream now."Hmm, deal." I grinned with the fresh tears still there."Liam can be number two," that thought seemed to feel right.Liliana acted like she was thinking hard. Her fun face made me grin even more."What about Will?" she said with a playful smile."My answer is easy." I laughed quietly."Will can be the third." My reply quickly made us both giggle. Our giggl
Sienna's POVThe kitchen was filled with the smell of butter since morning. The sunlight coming through the window made the wooden table look nice. The table was covered with flour, eggs, sugar and a big bowl of cake batter that Liliana and I were making together.I was wearing Liliana's apron with flowers on it. She was standing next to me slowly mixing the batter with a spoon."Be careful not to mix it fast." I started laughing. "I forgot that baking a cake is actually harder than writing a story."Liliana laughed too. "Of course it is. If your story is not good you can just erase it. If the cake batter is not good we have to eat it."Liliana and I were laughing together. The kitchen was feeling warm and happy. It had been a while since I laughed like that in the morning.I put vanilla in the bowl and slowly mixed the batter. My hands were still a little clumsy. I felt better than before.
Sienna’s POV It took a while before I moved from the bed. This room was too quiet, too empty… but it was the only place where I could breathe without feeling like a broken doll constantly being shattered. I turned on the desk lamp and sat down at my writing desk. I took a deep breath and reache
Sienna’s POV I didn’t regret it. I was grateful to have loved. Grateful to have been a part of this little family, even if in the end, I was pushed out. The front door opened with a creak, followed by Noah’s unmistakable giggle echoing through the house. I was in the kitchen, slicing strawberrie
Sienna’s POV This morning I woke up with a pounding headache and erratic breath. It felt as though I’d been trapped in a never-ending nightmare all night. But I had no time to complain. My eyes landed on the phone vibrating on the table—its screen lit up with a message from the parents' group. [I
Sienna’s POV I stopped at the entrance of the supermarket. My body still felt tired, but my mind refused to rest. Tomorrow would be the last day—my final day in this house, in their lives. But I didn’t want it to be a sad farewell. I wanted to end everything gently, like the final episode of a fa
