LOGINLiam's POV
I reached into my pocket and took out my phone. My fingers paused above Sienna’s chat. I wanted to call her, hear her voice, tell her I missed her, and make sure she was okay. But I knew if I called right now, my voice would sound like a mess.If Sienna heard that, she would ask questions. She would get suspicious. She would start remembering again all the rumors, all the wounds, all the days when she felt like she wasn’t enough.I wouldn’t let that happenSienna's POVI looked at Liam closely. "Including Noah.”It was quiet between us for a moment. Liam did not say anything for a second. Then he spoke again. "Our job now is not to hold Noah back, " he said in a soft voice.I frowned. "Then what is our job?”Liam said, "To give Noah a chance.”I could not believe what I was hearing. "A chance?" Liam added, "Time.”I shook my head quickly. "Time for what? To move away from us?”My voice got louder again. "Our job as Noah's parents is to guide him and not let him get lost.”Liam looked at me intently. "I am not letting Noah get lost.”His voice was still calm. It was firmer now. "I am making sure Noah does not feel alone.”I stopped talking.Liam kept talking, "You are worried. I know that.”He looked at me with eyes. "That is normal.”I lowered my head a lit
Sienna's POV I stood in the living room, looking at the stairs where Noah had gone just a few seconds ago.The noise of his steps was gone now. His room door must be closed. And weirdly that only made the tightness in my chest more bad .“Liam this isn’t good.” My voice was low but full of weight.I did not turn back but I knew he was still there behind me.“What isn’t right?” he asked calmly.I turned to face him immediately. “All of this.”My hands closed up without me seeing it. “The way he acts. The way we let him.”I stared right into Liam’s eyes. “You always pick his side”Liam took a long breath. “I ain't on his side Sienna.”"Then what?" I said fast. My voice began to go up again."You keep saying 'just let it go' 'he will tell us' 'give him some time,' how long, Liam?"I stepped closer. “Can’t you see he’s changed?”
Sienna's POV It was really late at night when I finally heard the front door open.I was sitting in the living room. I stood up right away when I heard it.My heart was racing with a mix of relief and anger.I knew those footsteps well. "Noah." He walked in looking really tired. His hair was a bit messy. He seemed completely exhausted.None of that made me feel any better about what I had been feeling all day.I walked up to him."Where have you been?" I asked him, my voice shaking."Why did you just take off like that?"Noah did not say anything for a moment, he just looked at me. "Can you please just listen to what I have to say l, Mom?"His voice was really calm. He was not arguing with me.For some reason that just made me even more upset. "An explanation?" Then I laughed, but it was not a
Sienna’s POVI carried the tray carefully with a bowl of food, a glass of milk and some fruit on it. My hands were shaking a little. I tried to stay calm.I had been thinking about a lot of things. I was wondering if I was too harsh with Noah night. Maybe I should have talked to him gently. Maybe I should have listened to him more.I stood in front of his door took a breath and then unlocked it.The door opened slowly. "Noah Mommy brought-" My words stopped. The room was empty.I froze at the doorway my eyes looking around the room. I saw the bed, the desk, the chair.. Noah was not there. "Noah?"I stepped inside quickly. "N-Noah?" My voice is shaking now. I opened the bathroom door. It was empty too. I turned around. My heart was beating very fast. Then I saw the window. It was open. The glass was broken. The tray fell from my hands. Crashed t
Noah's POV "Rachel."She turned around looking a little surprised that I spoke up. Her eyebrows went up slightly. "What?"I could see that she did not care about what I was going to say but I did not care about that.I put my hand in my jacket pocket. Pulled out a ticket. I held it for a moment then gave it to her.Rachel looked at the ticket at me. "What is this?"I took a breath. "It is a car race." "I am going to compete in it." She looked a little confused like she did not expect me to say that.I kept talking, my voice a little stronger this time. "Maybe I am not good at painting."I looked at her being honest. "But it is not yet."Rachel did not say anything. She just kept looking at me. I could not tell what she was thinking.I clenched my fist slightly. "N
Noah's POV The cab stopped just in front of the show. I opened the door before the car was fully still. My hands gently went for a picture I had held, like it was the most precious thing in the world.Because that’s exactly what it felt like. This wasn't just a picture, it was proof of my first step.I gazed at the tall structure in front of me, fancy and packed with nicely dressed folks. The smell of paint and cloth already felt close to me even before I walked in.My heart pounded.“I’m here.”I stepped inside. The air was packed, but not loud. All talked in soft tones, looking at each work with deep care. The pale walls had artworks from different creators; some strange, some lifelike, a few really amazing.I swallowed. I couldn’t lose.I walked to the spot given to me. My hands started to peel off the cover of the picture I was holding.
Sienna's POV “I'm just scared of hoping much " I murmured softly. "Scared that if I begin to think I deserve happiness I’ll realize that I don’t.”“If anything vanishes," Liliana answered softly, "it won’t happen due to your desires. It will occur because it wasn’t destined for
Sienna's POV That morning began with a warm kind of bustle. Noah trotted around holding his bag, while Liam tried to button his shirt with one hand and fix Noah’s hair with the other. I chuckled softly watching such a simple scene, yet one that always managed to calm my heart.“Daddy, my
Sienna's POV We stood near my car, paper bags of pastries hanging lightly from my hands. The afternoon sun was beginning to sink, leaving behind a golden hue that made everything feel calm and unhurried. Liliana slipped both hands into the pockets of her coat, her face looking a little tired
Sienna's POV I remembered the publisher meeting earlier that day, how they spoke about my book seriously, as if it were something real and important, not just a dream I held quietly to myself. I smiled faintly. I had come this far. It wouldn’t be fair to stop now just because the past tried
