Rafa's condition had improved by late afternoon. He was no longer suffering from high fever, although it had not totally subsided. His face was starting to regain color once more, and he requested chicken porridge for his lunch.

Upon seeing that, I was able to exhale in relief. "Rest well, all right?" I stroked Rafa's hair. "Tonight, I will call Rina to see how you are doing."
