Mag-log inThe Blood Moon bound me and my three Alpha friends together uncontrollably. By morning, everything had changed. Devlin said it was a mistake. Storm refused to even look at me. Filo rejected the bond completely. The pack called me shameless. A wolfless omega who dared to trap three future Alphas. Then I discovered I was pregnant. Not one of them claimed me. Not one of them claimed our babies. Instead, they chose Lily — the Alpha Elder’s perfect daughter — and stood beside her while the council demanded I get rid of my children. So I ran. The night they cornered me at the Moon Cliff, I would rather die with my unborn pups than let them tear my family apart. But I survived. Three years later, I returned with three extraordinary children carrying the bloodlines of the strongest Alphas in the North. And beside me stood Kael — the ruthless Alpha King of the South. The male who wanted to become the father my children never had. Now the three Alphas who abandoned me are begging for a second chance. Too bad I no longer belong to them.

The Blood Moon bound me and my three Alpha friends together uncontrollably.
On the bed, I glanced at each of them. Their eyes dripped with lust for me. I could feel their desire pulsing through them.
Each one of them was handsome in their own way. Devlin had dark hair and even darker eyes. His naked muscular chest glistened with sweat as he reached for me. His jaw was tight and sharp. His eyes pierced mine like daggers.
Storm was the smallest of the three, with auburn hair and amber eyes. He had a smile that could light up a room. But that night, he fixed me with a gaze that stopped my heart.
And then there was Filo, his long brown hair pulled back into a pony tail. His face was the most serious of the three, a man of little words. Shivers prickled my skin as he bent down and brushed his lips against mine.
I knew these three men well. I’d grown up with them. We’d played childhood games together, celebrated our birthdays, walked to and from school side by side every single day.
But as their eyes raked over my body, their masculinity replaced any boyish charm I remembered for our youth. These weren’t the same men. Not now. Not in this bed. Their eyes burned with fire. Their sculpted bodies radiated heat. They were fully grown, hot with desire for me.
“Mercy,” Devlin whispered, pinning my arms above my head. Moonlight flooded in through the window. The curtains billowed in the night breeze.
Was this really happening? Was I really bound in bed by my three childhood friends?
Filo kissed the nape of my neck, his fingers tracing my collarbone. My body writhed with longing.
It was no one’s fault. The Blood Moon had its hold on us, and we were all powerless under its grip.
On my back, as the three alphas hovered over me.
The Blood Moon took control over all of us, binding us together in our passion. It was a pure release of desire and wanting, me and the three handsome alphas. Flesh and lips and hands, reaching, touching, stroking. The word euphoric can’t even begin to describe that night, as we all gave ourselves over to the Blood Moon.
I woke up the next morning in a tangled mess of limbs. With a shy smile on my face, I wrangled myself out from under the men. The moment my feet landed on the floor though, Devlin sat up. He looked at me for a moment, his expression flickering from confusion to guilt.
Wrapping the sheet around my chest, Filo woke up next. He barely even looked at me. He just got up and out of the bed, gathering his clothes as he made his way to the door. Devlin followed him, leaving only Storm in the bed.
Watching Storm’s naked chest rise and fall while he slept, my heart sank. It was clear that Devlin and Filo both regretted our night of passion. They were already blaming it on the Blood Moon, ashamed of what they’d done.
Storm opened his eyes. I gazed at him, my cheeks burning crimson. With the sheets still wrapped around my chest, I bit my lip.
“Good morning,” I said, my eyes hopeful.
He narrowed his eyes and sat up.
“Mercy,” he replied, his tone cold. That was the only thing he said. He gave a curt nod that broke my heart. Then he, too, got out of the bed and was at the door before I could even turn around.
“Wait, Storm,” I called after him. “Don’t go.”
I’d grown up with all three of them. The pack had taken me in when I was just a young orphan. Devlin, Storm, Filo and I had all been childhood friends. Their faces were as familiar as my own in the mirror. We’d been equals.
But then their wolves had awakened. Powerful, Alpha wolves every one of them. I was happy for my friends. I was proud of them as each of their wolves woke up.
I waited for my own wolf. I wondered who she’d be. Maybe she would be powerful, too. Just like my friends’ wolves were.
My own wolf never woke up though. I resigned myself to my fate. I was just a wolfless omega. A nothing. A nobody.
And my three childhood friends were all alphas.
Storm turned around at the door. He fixed me with a hard look.
“Can we talk about this?” I asked.
There had never been any awkwardness between us. Not in all the years I’d known them. It was clear now though that things had changed. The air between us was tense.
Storm raked his hand through his hair. He sighed heavily. I tried to find his eyes, but he averted his gaze. He looked past me, to the window. I sat in the crumpled sheets, my breath hitched in my throat.
“No,” he shook his head. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
His words cut like knives.
“What happened last night? That never should have happened. I’m sure that Devlin and Filo feel the same way. We’re alphas, Mercy. You’re an omega.”
“But we were friends,” I said, my heart clutching in my chest.
“Were,” Storm said. His tone hit me in the stomach like a punch. Were. As in, we aren’t anymore.
“But last night…” I started.
He cut me off. “It was the Blood Moon, Mercy. Nothing more. I think it’s best if we all just pretend it never happened.”
Storm left the room, closing the door behind him. My shoulders hunched forward. They were my friends. My best friends.
But now?
The events of the night, the passion, the things we’d done…
…it had alienated me from them.
Biting back a tear, I got out of bed. If they wanted to pretend it never happened, I couldn’t do anything about it.
They were alphas.
And I was just an omega.
Mercy’s POVMy hand stopped. I cleared my throat awkwardly. My cheeks burned crimson. I couldn’t believe Reece had just said that. I knew my children wanted a daddy. They told me all the time. But this man was a complete stranger to them!“Reece, love,” I said, my voice high and tight. “We’ve talked about this before. You can’t keep asking strange men to be your daddy..”“Why not?” Reece said with a mock pout. “You don’t have a husband. And this man is very handsome."“Handsome,” Riley corrected her for a second time. The irony wasn’t lost on me. I’d been bound to this man once. We’d spent a torrid night of passion in bed together. There was the very strong possibility that he was already their father. He didn’t know that though. Everyone believed I was dead. Including Storm. He was blind now, so he couldn’t see me. I’d spent the past five years hiding from the Crimson Rose pack. I was safe here, with the Orchid Pack. But even so, I had nightmares sometimes about being discovered
Five Years LaterThe injured man appeared at my clinic. His face was covered in blood, and his leg had a deep wound. I immediately set to work on his wound, stitching it with skillful hands. It wasn’t unusual for wounded wolves to appear at my clinic. Somehow, I’d managed to survive the fall from the cliff five years ago. The Crimson Rose Pack thought I was dead. Desperate to save my child, I left our pack borders and found a small, quaint pack, the Orchid Pack. They took me in and offered me a home. I’d been reluctant at first. I was unwilling to trust anyone, given what my own pack had done. But the Orchid Pack didn’t pressure me. I didn’t even have to join their pack if I didn’t want to. I could just stay until I was healed.Days turned to weeks, and weeks to months, and the pack grew on me. They were a gentle, traditional pack who didn’t believe in fighting. As such, they were not entangled in the battle between the North and the South packs. They were neutral territory. To my del
Mercy’s POVLily gasped. She looked at me with pure disgust. Then, before I could stop her, she turned on her heel and ran down the hall. My heart pounded in my chest.“Please,” I begged the brothers. “She’s going to tell the Elders. They’ll make me abort my child.”“We can’t help him,” Storm said, his tone not unkind. Minutes later, the elders appeared. Their faces were stern. Lily stood behind them.“Mercy,” the lead elder said. “You need to come with us.”Panicked, I looked at time at Filo, Storm, and Devlin. They averted their eyes as the elders grabbed me by the elbows.“I didn’t do anything wrong,” I said, my voice cracking. “We were bound by the blood moon. Please. Don’t do this.”The elders showed me no sympathy. They mocked me, their tones dripping with sarcasm.“Who do you think you are?” the head elder said. “Crawling into bed with Alphas? You’re just a lowly, wolfless Omega. If the pack hears about this, they will turn on you. We must get rid of this child. No one can kn
Mercy’s POVI did what the alphas asked of me, and forgot about the night of the Blood Moon. We barely spoke after that night. And it hurt my heart knowing that I’d lost my three best friends. It wasn’t long though, after that night, that I found out I was pregnant. When the doctor said the words, my heart fluttered.Maybe my child was…the future leader of the pack?A hundred years ago, a powerful sage prophesied that a powerful female would give birth to a Legendary-level bloodline. This child would grow up to lead our pack, the Crimson Rose pack, to glory. For a hundred years, our pack had waited for this year to come, the year when the King-blood heir would be born. Our pack was riddled with anxiety. The Thornbrook Pack of the South had been growing. Their warriors were strong, and they were seizing territory from the packs of the north. They were on the rise. And it was only a matter of time before the Thornbrook Pack breached our pack borders.Which was why our entire pack was w
