Jake invited Laura to his house and Laura was excited to be there.

Laura was so shocked to see how big Jake’s house is. She knows he was reluctant but not this illicit.

Jake decided to give her a tour of his house or rather Manson, they toured every room and soon stopped in front of Jake’s room.

Laura followed Jake into his room, he gestured toward the sofa and she understood that she should sit there.

Laura thought that Jake would join her, but he raised his index finger, indicating to her to wait before dashing into the bathroom.

A second later, Laura heard the water running in the sink and she wondered what Jake was doing. She didn't see that he was dirty in any way, but then maybe she missed it.

Jake was splashing cold water on his face in an attempt to compose himself.

While they were touring his house, Jake was leading the way maintaining a slight distance so that he is in front, not because he wanted to silently show who among the two of them will be in cha

The trees whispered as the wind moved through them, golden leaves cascading gently to the earth like nature’s confetti. The Bloodfang Pack lands hadn’t changed much over the years—still surrounded by ancient woods, still glowing with quiet magic. But the house at the center of it all had grown. The walls were a little weathered now, the porch swing creaked more than it used to, and the garden had spread into a riot of colors and textures. Laughter still echoed from its walls, music still spilled through open windows, and warmth always radiated from within.Avery stood on the porch, a light sweater wrapped around her shoulders, her hair streaked with gentle silver now, but her smile unchanged. Her hands were tucked into the sleeves of her cardigan, heart fluttering with a familiar joy.Today, her babies were coming home.Grown.Independent.But still hers. The door creaked open behind her.Sean stepped out first, coffee in one hand, his other resting on her back. “They should be close.

Five years laterThe morning sun poured through the wide glass windows of their family home, casting golden streaks across the polished wooden floors. Birds chirped cheerfully outside, their songs mixing with the soft sounds of laughter drifting down the hall.Avery stood in the kitchen, her hands covered in flour as she rolled dough on the counter. Her auburn hair was pulled up in a messy bun, a smudge of flour streaking one cheek. She wore a pair of faded pajamas and fluffy socks—her armor of motherhood. From the backyard, Ethan’s voice rang out, “Dad! Watch me!”Avery smiled as Sean’s voice followed, full of encouragement. “That’s it! Keep your balance—yes! You did it!”Shane passed behind her with two steaming mugs of coffee, pecking her cheek. “You’ve got dough on your nose, baker queen.”“And you’re lucky I didn’t make you wear an apron,” she teased, nudging him with her elbow.Shane winked and disappeared into the sunroom where Romeo sat reading with Emily curled beside him, he

The golden hue of the afternoon sun kissed the garden as laughter bubbled up from Ethan’s tiny mouth. He was chasing butterflies now, stumbling on his still-wobbly legs, completely enchanted by the fluttering creatures. Nearby, Emily sat with Romeo, her little hands wrapped around a leaf, staring at it with the kind of deep concentration that only she possessed.Avery leaned her head against Sean’s shoulder, breathing in the comforting scent of pine and warmth. The breeze rustled gently through the trees, birds chirped softly in the background, and the twins’ playful noises echoed off the garden walls. It was perfect. Peaceful. Blissful. But peace never lasted long in a pack where the supernatural pulsed through every heartbeat.Emily let out a small gasp.Everyone turned. The leaf in her hand had started to glow.Just faintly—soft gold, like a speck of sunlight trapped in green—but unmistakable. Avery’s breath caught. Sean sat up straighter. Shane, who’d just returned with a tray of

The day had finally arrived. Avery and her babies were being discharged from the hospital, and excitement buzzed in the air. Her mates had spent the past few days ensuring everything at home was perfect for their return. Today was not just a day of homecoming; it was also the day the twins would be named and introduced to the Pack. As they prepared to leave, Avery cradled each baby in her arms, feeling the soft weight and warmth of her children. The journey from pregnancy to delivery had been challenging, but the love and support of her mates had carried her through. Now, holding her newborns, she felt a profound sense of fulfillment and joy. Sean was at her side, carefully placing the twins in their car seats, while Shane handled the paperwork with the hospital staff. Cruz and Romeo had gone ahead to the car, ensuring everything was ready for their journey home. “Are you ready to go home, love?” Sean asked, his eyes full of warmth and affection. Avery smiled, her heart swel

Weeks had passed, and Avery’s due date was fast approaching. The anticipation in the house was palpable, a mix of excitement and nervous energy as they prepared for the arrival of their twins. Her mates had been incredibly attentive, ensuring everything was ready for when the big day arrived. Avery's hospital bag was packed and ready to go, sitting by the front door like a silent sentinel awaiting its call to action. Sean had meticulously gone through the checklist multiple times, making sure they hadn't missed anything essential. Shane had organized all the baby clothes, washed and folded with care, while Cruz had assembled the cribs, testing them for sturdiness and safety. Romeo, ever the planner, had mapped out the fastest routes to the hospital, accounting for traffic patterns and any potential delays. The nursery was a serene haven, painted in soothing colors with delicate mobiles hanging above the cribs. Soft toys and plush animals were arranged neatly on the shelves, and

"Wait a minute", Jake said, driven by his curiosity, and he pushed Laura's hand away from him so that he could move without obstruction. He really wanted to see what was going on down there. Laura groaned in protest. "Jake..." "Shh...", he shushed her. "We are mates. Let me see you." Laura exhaled in defeat when she realized that Jake used her words against her, and Jake moved lower between her legs. He spread her drenched folds with the tips of his fingers that were a bit shaky. He was excited. Jake could see her entrance and there was a small bud above it. He pressed on the bud with his thumb and Laura's whole body shook in response. Jake smirked proudly, like he found something important. Was it normal for it to smell of oud? Every part of Laura smelled of honey and he wondered if it would taste the same. He looked at his thumb that was glistening with Laura's juices and he gave it a lick. Honey. He wanted to lick her all over, but then he wouldn't be able to see he
