CHAPTER SIX

PARTY IN PARADISE

Clara stood by the pool relaxing with a bottle of sparkling water that she was drinking. She thought it was better to take it easy with the alcohol that was going on there, she had always been weak when it came to alcoholic drinks. She was a little embarrassed at first, because even in the dim light of the streetlamps, she could see that many people were making out in the pool. Straight and gay, and she decided to mess with her cell phone, relieved that she had given in and come to this party. She was enjoying it and Megan was absolutely right, she really should start going out more, she was becoming antisocial.

" Hey, don't you want to get one of my bikinis and go in the water for a while? " Megan towered over her, splashing all over her.

" Damn, Meg, you almost got my cell phone wet! " she complained, using one end of her blouse to dry the splashes on her phone. " Maybe in the morning I'll go to the pool, thanks.
