Chapter 48— Castles In The Sand

Diana's POV

It was a long train ride to Dieppe, and we finally got there. We finally got to the beach. The wind felt so cold on my skin. It was a sunny day, but the wind didn't seem to be affected by the sun.

"Come on, let's go get a space for ourselves," he said, smiling brightly.

I still couldn't believe that he was smiling. After everything that had been said against him.

Unbelievable.

He held my hands, pulling me as he went towards the spot where we could get a ticket for a space.

After collecting the ticket, we were ushered to the spot. It was a very nicely arranged, canopy-like structure for two, located in a very good place with a better view of the beach. And the overhead cover prevented the scorching sun from burning our skins.

We were also served a good smoothie. We began to talk and laugh about people on the beach. Yeah, you guessed right—we were gossiping about people, especially those who went to dive and, most especially, those who went to skate.
