Alison’s POV

“Hi Dad, Melody is at the spa, waiting for you,” Cory said.

Vandyke was in a blue bathing robe standing tall with his magnificent features, I thought that for a second he would look my way but that didn’t happen,

“Sure” was all he muttered and walked away,

As he disappeared into the room, Cory mocked me with a grin, “You see? You are invisible to him now.”

“It doesn’t change the fact that we did it, even in your car.” I snapped, “You are nothing to my mom too,”

I walked away from him and up to Roberta who was unpacking.

“What was that boy saying?” she asked as we arranged our working tools.

“Forget about him, he still can’t get over the fact that I bonked his dad, let him cry about it,” I replied.

“He’s so obnoxious, I would have encouraged you to do his dad again if Melody wasn’t such a nice person.” Roberta moaned.

I’m beginning to doubt Melody is the person she portrays herself to be, I feel like she brought me here intentionally to gloat in my face and hurt me. Every
