From Heartbreak to My Lycan Alpha

Liam and I were supposed to become mates next month.

I planned our honeymoon and prepared a $100,000 trip as a mating gift for Liam.

Before I even finished my words, he interrupted me impatiently, “Who asked you to plan it? For our honeymoon, I will only give you a budget of $50. We’ll just go somewhere nearby for a night.”

That night, I found out he had transferred his $1 million hunting competition bonus to his childhood friend Stella, letting her use it to buy an apartment of her own.

He got really mad at me, when he saw the receipt for the $100,000 I had prepaid for the honeymoon.

“Who asked you to spend our future money on a trip?”

Liam’s parents also yelled at me, “You are just a useless Omega! You can’t even shift into a werewolf form, you are not good enough for our son.”

Every single cent was earned by myself from my herb business. I broke up with him. Liam stole that trip from me and went on it with Stella instead.

Seven years later, we ran into each other at the Alpha’s castle. Liam was about to become a Warrior.

Meanwhile, I was on my knees, searching for something on the floor.

“Mia, you broke up with me over a $50 honeymoon fund back then. Now, you are working as a maid?”

In fact, I was looking for my pup’s favorite toy. It had rolled under one of the tables earlier.

“Is that so? Don’t you even know who the Luna of this castle is?”

This castle was the largest in the area, and it was also the home of our pack’s Alpha.

This day was the day Liam had been invited to receive the title of Warrior, which was why he had been summoned here.

Liam was already dressed in the warrior armor. Stella stood next to him, smiling happily in a purple dress. As they passed by, many people enthusiastically approached to greet them.

“Liam, congratulations on becoming a Warrior of our pack! This is such an important position.”

“Absolutely! It only took you seven years to go from an ordinary werewolf to a Warrior. It is impressive.”

“Yeah, I heard our pack’s Alpha is back from overseas today to personally grant you the title. It’s such an honor!”

Liam looked proud of himself and said, “Thank you all so much for coming today. As a Warrior from now on, I’ll do my duty to protect the entire pack.”

I was kneeling on the floor, lifting tablecloths one by one to search for the toy, when I suddenly froze.

That conversation caught me off guard, I hadn’t expected a werewolf like Liam to hold such an important role as a Warrior.

He did have talent in hunting and battle, so he was technically capable. But thinking back to how he had treated me, his personality was another matter entirely.

No wonder everyone was sucking up to him, after all, the Warrior’s position carried a lot of power in the pack.

“Hey, you must be the Warrior’s mate, right?” someone said, glancing curiously at Stella.

Stella smiled and nodded, “Yes. I’m Stella.”

“You’re so beautiful, Stella, and that dress is stunning. You and our future Warrior are truly a match!”

Stella was about to speak more.

Liam stopped her and said, “Oh, excuse me. She’s not my mate yet. We haven’t had our Mating Ceremony.”

Stella froze, then forced a smile. “That’s right, but we’ll be having our grand Mating Ceremony soon. We hope the entire pack will come to witness it.”

I was surprised to hear that. It had been seven years since we had broken up.

I remembered that right after we split, Liam had started seeing Stella. They had even stolen the honeymoon trip I had planned.

I thought Liam loved her very much, yet he still hadn’t made her his official mate. It was confusing, but it fit Liam’s personality. Maybe he was waiting until he became a Warrior to find someone with more money or power.

This had nothing to do with me anymore. I shook my head

Then I suddenly heard, “Hey, who are you? Are you cleaning the floor? My son is about to be given the title of Warrior by the Alpha. How is a lowly she-wolf like you still here?”

I looked up to see a familiar face I hadn’t seen in years.

It was Liam’s mother, Jane. She was glaring at me, and beside her was Liam’s father, Victor. They both dressed in fancy clothes.

I had been crawling under tables to find my pup’s favorite toy, a fox-shaped stone made of pink crystal. So my hair was messy and my clothes were wrinkled.

Earlier, I had been playing with my little pup, Lily, on the grass, so there was still dirt on my dress. They mistook me for a maid.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “I’m just looking for something. I’ll leave as soon as I find it, and I’ll have someone clean this area afterward.”

Jane’s eyes narrowed. “It’s you. This the she-wolf my son once dumped. What are you doing here?”

Victor added, “Unbelievable! You’re still chasing after our son? Now that he is about to be a Warrior, what do you think you are up to? Get out of here, or I’ll call security to drag you out!”

Their loud voices immediately drew everyone’s attention.

Stella and Liam heard them too, and they turned to look at me.

“Mia? What are you doing here?” Liam said, surprised.
