Chapter 5

Penulis: Grace Heal
I said, “This is mine. I didn’t steal it.”

Stella said sarcastically, “This fox-shaped stone has so many diamonds on it, it must be worth over $10 million. Where did you get the money to buy it? Don’t be ridiculous.”

Liam heard this and stepped forward. He looked at the stone in my hand, “Mia, are you trying to give me this stone as a gift to win me back? But why can’t you understand? There’s no way between us anymore.”

Back in the day, Liam really did give me a stone like this. It was a wolf-shaped stone. And it was made of the cheapest granite.

Liam bought it from a street second-hand store, and he carved his name on it.

At that time, we used to run in the wild together every day. And he said he hoped when he wasn't by my side, this wolf-shaped stone could be with me.

So that was why Liam thought I was using this stone to win him back.

Liam said, “Mia, you’re more naive than I thought.”

Before I could say anything, the server said, “So you stole this. Tell us where you stole it from in this castle. You need to put it back right now, before the Alpha finds out.”

I took a deep breath.

“This really is mine. I can show you proof that I didn’t steal it.”

I wanted to take out my phone, because my mate had it designed by a famous designer, and I had specifically taken a photo of the receipt.

As soon as I took it out, Stella snatched it from me. She threw my phone on the ground, and I saw a crack on the screen.

Then Stella said, “Evidence can be faked. Who knows if yours is real or not? No one will believe you. I think we should take you to the dungeon.”

Hearing this, Liam suddenly said, “Forget it. Just let her leave the stone here and go.”

Stella grabbed Liam’s hand and said, “No. If this stone is really something the Alpha lost, it would be a big deal. You’re a Warrior now, and you must help the Alpha investigate this. If it really belongs to the Alpha, and you return it to him, he might reward you. He might even let you be more than just a Warrior.”

“Stella, this is mine. Do you know what kind of punishment you’ll get for framing me like this?”

Stella let out an exaggerated laugh and said, “I’m not framing you. You were caught stealing this stone. You’re the one who will be punished.”

Stella turned to the guards, “Grab her. Take her to the dungeon right now.”

At this moment, my pup Lily came running towards me.

When I saw it was Lily, I wanted to hug her, but my hands were tightly held by two guards. They were huge and strong werewolves.

Stella stopped Lily and said, “Don’t go over there. She is a bad she-wolf. She will hurt you.”

Lily pushed Stella away.

“This is my mommy. Let go of my mommy.”

Stella looked surprised.

Lily hugged my legs and cried, “Mommy, are you okay?”

I looked at her, but I still couldn’t move my hands. I didn’t want my pup to see me like this.

“Mommy is okay. Don’t worry.”

“Your daughter? No wonder she’s so annoying, just like you. She must have inherited your Omega blood.”

Lily kicked the two guards next to me.

“Let go of my mommy. You are bad werewolves! I will tell my daddy!”

“Mommy is fine. Mommy found your favorite toy.” I could only comfort Lily with words.

Then, under Stella’s orders, the guards tried to drag me away.

Stella said, “Hurry up and throw this Omega and her bastard pup into the dungeon.”

“Let go of me! Let go of my pup!”

I watched as the server grabbed my pup with his claws. There were already red scratches on her arm. My pup struggled desperately.

Suddenly, I let out a low growl. My inner energy had been unlocked.

I suddenly transformed into a Lycan wolf. I was twice as big as an ordinary wolf. My eyes were full of killing intent, and my claws were extremely sharp. My entire fur was snow-white.

I swung my body and threw the guards away. They crashed to the ground, cracking the floor. Then I rushed to Lily and stood in front of her.

Everyone was in shock.

Because a snow-white Lycan wolf like me was extremely rare.

Then the door of the ballroom opened, and another Lycan wolf as big as me ran in. He turned around and transformed back.

When the others saw him, they immediately lowered their heads and said, “Alpha, you’re here.”

Liam took over a month to heal.Alex had hired a private investigator to look into Stella, he thought he had seen her somewhere before. It turned out that after Stella had deliberately sent me those photos of her and Liam in bed, she was fearing I would go back, so she had hired some drifter werewolves to find me, intending to humiliate and even kill me.I had never hurt Stella. She did all this to me because of Liam. How ridiculous!I thought, how lucky I was to have met Alex. Alex was grateful to have met me, too.He was the werewolf who had broken my seal, and I was the one who had tamed his uncontrollable rage. We were perfect for each other.Alex asked, “What do you want to do with that she-wolf?”“I never want to see her again.”Alex nodded. “She’ll pay for what she’s done.”He had Stella arrested. For framing me and hiring someone to harm me, she was thrown into the dungeon, the very same dungeon she had once demanded I be locked in. It was likely she would never leave it.I rem

Liam was stepping closer to me, but he glanced at Alex and took a step back.He said, “When did you learn to shift into the wolf form? And your wolf form is so huge, you’re a snow-white Lycan! Why didn’t you tell me about this?”“Back then, you and your parents looked down on me. You kept calling me an Omega, but my bloodline was never Omega. I’ve always been a Lycan. It’s just that my seal could only be broken when I met my true mate. I used to think that mate would be you, so I waited for that seal to break. But it never did. You know what that means? You were never meant to be my mate.”Liam shook his head and said, “No, it’s all a misunderstanding. I’ve always loved you. Otherwise, why would I have been with Stella for seven years without making her my mate?”“That’s between you and her. Whether you make her your mate or not is your decision, and it has nothing to do with me. And I never wanted to be your mate, not then, not now.”Liam tried to step toward me again, reaching out to

“No, she is not my mate. I was going to have a mate bond with her and hold a Mating Ceremony, but now it’s unnecessary.”Stella was deeply hurt.“Liam, you are actually cutting ties with me like this? We’ve been together for so many years. Didn’t you say we would have the Mating Ceremony next month? How can you not speak up for me now?”Liam frowned. “Shut up. How can I lie for you in front of everyone? You still want to be my mate? Dream on. You’d better beg Alpha for forgiveness, or I can’t guarantee what will happen to you.”“Didn’t you promise to be with me forever?”“So what? I lied to you, but you lied to me too. Seven years ago, you told me Mia was only with me for my money, and I believed you. You made me transfer my bonus to you, and I did. That made me lose Mia.”“But you were willing to do it! You even said you were afraid Mia would use your money. So you wanted to keep the money with me before you became her mate. Haven’t you forgotten her all these years? Was what she said

The two guards who had been holding me knelt at Alex’s feet.“Alpha, we really had no idea. We thought she was a thief. It was all her orders.” They pointed at Stella.Stella said, “It’s her. She had the stone with the Alpha’s insignia. I thought she was a thief.”Alex looked at me. He quickly understood what had happened. He said gently to me, “It’s just a stone, and if it really couldn’t be found, I would buy you a new one anytime. In this castle, as long as you declare your identity as the Luna, all the servants should serve you. Did they all ignore you as the Luna?”When he spoke, the air itself seemed to turn cold, and everyone could feel the Alpha’s anger. This was his great oppressive mental power as an Alpha. Besides, like me, Alex was a Lycan with great power.“It’s okay. The stone has been found now.”I knew if Alex continued to get angry, more werewolves will be punished because of me. I held Alex’s hand. Alex looked at me and then smiled. The other werewolves were shocked b

“Alex!” I shifted back and spoke. When Lily saw the Alpha, she ran to him crying, “Daddy, I’m so scared. They hurt mommy.”Stella also heard it and said, “Alex? How dare you address the Alpha as ‘Alex’? Don’t you know your own place? The Alpha must be furious. He’ll throw you out of this castle.”She hadn’t finished speaking when Alex walked over. He lashed out with his claws, slashing Stella’s face. Stella’s cheek was bleeding.“Shut your mouth.”Alex came up to me and helped me up.He turned to Liam, “What’s going on here?”Lily said, “Daddy, they bullied us.”Stella was in shock when he watched Alex gently picked up Lily. He then checked the injuries on my hands.Liam looked at me and then at Alex.“Alpha, is Mia really your mate?”“All of you will address her as your Luna. None of you are to call her Mia. The reason I brought Mia back to the castle this time is to let you all know who your Luna is.”Liam stared at me and said, “Mia, I’ve been looking for you for seven whole years.
