I completed my work and went down hoping he will be staying there but he is not at home that means he went to office. I felt so much pain in my cheeks because of hitting. I wanted to have some food but I am not in a state to do it. I wanted to sleep badly I thought and slept on the floor. I felt immense pain in my body parts but slowly I drifted into sleep hoping I will never woke up.

Someone is shaking me. I am hearing some voices they are trying to wake me up but I don't want to wake up I want to go to deep sleep.

"Dharani" someone is calling my name no shouting my name. I tried to open my eyes but they are so heavy I again tried and saw my husband. I quickly got up with a jerk which resulted in causing me pain.

"Why didn't you prepared the dinner" he asked me. What dinner that means I slept for almost ten hours but usually I don't sleep for four hours but today I slept so much time. And I didn't prepared dinner that means he will punish me again.

"Please don't punish me I don't know how I slept for this much time" I said to him covering my face with my palms thinking he will slap me.

"Now get up and prepare dinner" he said and left from kitchen. He didn't hit me but why? I thought and prepared dinner for him. I served him and he ate with silence. After he left I cleaned his plate and had my dinner in the kitchen and then I slept on the floor.

Next day he didn't went to office. I started working but just then I heard the doorbell and went to open it. I saw a man of my husband's age standing at the door.

"Yes", I asked him.

"Is Akash home" he asked me.

"No, I will call him" I told him and asked him to have a seat. I went to his room and knocked it after a few seconds the door got opened and he came out of the room.

"What?" he asked me angrily.

"Someone has came to meet you" I told him.

"Ok you go I will come" he said and I nodded and went down.

"He said, he is coming" I told him and he nodded. I went to kitchen to make some coffee for him. When I came out of the kitchen I saw my husband and the other person are talking.

"Sir, coffee" I offered him and he took the cup I moved to Akash and he denied it.

"By the way Akash who is she?" the other man asked him.

"She is the maid of this house" he told breaking my heart. I looked at him with teary eyes.

"What are you looking at go and do your work" he yelled at me and I went away from them. Upto now I thought he will change his decision in making me maid but today he proved it that I am his maid. I finally accepted my fate and I accepted that I am just his maid. When my own family treats me like a maid then why won't he.

Akash POV

"Hi bro" dhruv my best friend greeted me when he saw me. I greeted him back and we settled ourselves in the couch.

"When did you come?" I asked him. He went to London for some work few days ago and it's the reason he didn't attended my marriage.

"Last night Akash and today I thought to meet you so I am here" he said to me.

"It's ok dhruv you can come whenever you want" I said to him. Just then Dharani came with coffee. She gave one to him and came to me but I denied.

"By the way Akash who is she?" dhruv asked me.

"She is the maid of this house" I told him and looked at her she looked at me with teary eyes. You deserve this because you married me for money.

I shouted at her to go from there and she went away. Later we talked for sometime.

Later he left and I got a call from dad asking me to go to dharani's home and give the gifts to their family members. I said I have some work but he didn't listened to me and told me to go there. I thought I will leave her there for few days and I can live happily till then. I thought this and I went to the kitchen. She is deeply engrossed in her thoughts I went to her.

"Dharani" I called her and she jolted being scared.

"Ahh" she shouted and turned towards me.

"Yes" she stammered.

"We are going to your house" I told her and she widened her eyes.

"B.... but w.... why?" she asked me.

"Dad asked me to do that" I told her and she gulped. 

'Why is she afraid to go to her house?' I thought. 

"I..... is it necessary" she asked me.

"Why don't you want to go to your home" I asked her and she didn't said anything.

"Pack your bags we will leave by evening" I told her and she looked at me shockingly.

"Bags are we staying there more days?" she asked me.

"Not we, you are staying there" I told her and she gasped. I didn't said anything and went to my room.

Later we went to her house and their family members invited us. I got settled on the couch but she is still standing. I didn't cared about her and I asked my driver to bring the gifts and he brought them and kept them on the table. I can see the greediness in their eyes seeing the gifts maybe she is also like them only.

"What's the need for this son" Dharani uncle asked me while taking the gifts. 

Huh greedy man. Just then sanaya, dharani's sister came and sat beside me.

"How are you, handsome" she said giving me her best fake smile. She is such a b**** she always tries to get attention I am observing her from the day I saw her. . She tried so much to get me on my wedding day but who is she trying huh.

"I am fine" I told her.

"I think I should leave now I have some work" I said and got up hurriedly.

"But please stay here for some more time " that b**** sanaya held my hand and it irked me. I took my hand out of grip angrily and walked further but again someone held my hand I turned to give her a big warning but.....
