Chapter 14

Emma remained still in her spot. She stopped fighting him. She was too weak for that. She already knew fighting him would proof to be fatal for her health and she needed to be well for Miles's sake. Damien saw how weak she was and loosened his hold on her. He sighed and carried her in bridal style.

He walked up the stairs and arrived at her room. He walked in and carefully placed her on the bed. Emma stared at him all the way. Damien caught her gaze. "Do you want to ask me something?". He asked. Emma shooked her head and asked to see Miles. "Miles is fine and playing in his new room. You need to get better and be quiet now!". He ordered in a loud tone.
