"Just think about this: since we're holding a raffle we could make a huge profit and buy all the food and blankets that we want without standing here like beggars," Lauren explained. 

It finally made sense to Warren and Samuel. Lauren was only caring about her own image and not the purpose of the fundraising. She didn't want to participate in an activity that made her reliant on people's generosity, she wanted to be the one in control. 

"With the raffle we can sell tickets at a price of 5000 dollars. If we have a hundred participants, we could raise 500 000 dollars. The prices that those who participate in the raffle could win include a new BMW 3 series, a necklace worth 25 000 dollars and a one-day all expenses paid luxury day at the Heavenly Sky Resort, with dinner included at the Heavenly Sky Diner."

Warren and Samuel looked at each other and shook their heads. Lauren was so far off topic. Her suggestion defeated the whole purpose of the fundraising
