Chapter 17 Return Home

Corvin’s POV

The sun was shining brightly over the eastern horizon when Corvin strode naked up the front steps of his keep. His wolf had run the rest of the night with his pack. It was reassuring that he could feel her and knew that Elle had eventually calmed down. 

She had been upset for a little while after he left. But it wasn’t half an hour later; he could sense her laughter. She seemed to cheer up before falling asleep.

He slipped into his sweats as he walked up to his familiar apartment. He was especially quiet because he did not want to wake Elle. But her smell was all over the apartment. Her scent reminded him of that kiss last night, and he felt his blood heating.
