Before going into Alpha PataDiamante’s room, Elle saw Corvin haunting the halls and looking like a long-dead apparition, shadows fed by lack of color. His dark eyes peered out from the blackness of shadows, emphasized by the paleness of his skin—a stalking monster lurking in his gloom.
