Shay's POVI walked up the steps towards the front door and that's when I noticed the lights in Shawn's private study room was still on. His study room is located on the other side of the house separated from all the chaos and noises that happens inside our home. The room was actually bigger than a normal garage and it's very well furnished and styled and it's pretty cozy too with a big leather couch inside along with the wall bookshelves and his table and drink cabinet occupying the space too. It's the only place where you'll find him because he normally spends a lot of time in there.I retraced my steps and strolled across the lawn towards his study room and went inside. Shay's POVFor the past few days as I continued to go to work, Jason and I have started to get a lot closer and act comfortable around each other more than I had thought we would be. Shay's POVThe sunlight visible through the light satin curtains was what woke me up, I smiled while sitting up and then slowly dragged myself out of bed and did my usual morning routine but only this time, I was at Sylvia's place. Shay's POVMy hands continues to tremble by my side as I got out of the cab and made my way inside the house. I quickly wiped away the lone tear that rolled down my cheek and tried to stay calm by doing small breathing exercises. The minute I walked in, the atmosphere suddenly changes. There was a heavy bad tension in the room and the sound of glass shattering on the floor made me jump in surprise. I slowly walked towards the foyer and finally saw my mother standing in front of our butler screaming orders at him. Her appearance was a mess and just by seeing her reaction, I knew straight away that the situation was really bad than I had thought.She swiftly turned around and saw me and her eyes narrowed into slits.
