Chapter 13 Hunting Again

So this time, having Marlyn around for dinner and beers after, Alona was quite sure her husband was expecting something more than the drinks they would have tonight. It made Alona feel excited herself. 

“Have those two wash their hands and join us here at the table before the food gets cold,” the mother instructed the daughter, and Lexy went to do as told.

“Dad, Marlyn, mom says you two should wash your hands and sit at the table so we can get the dinner started,” Lexy walked over to her dad and received his briefcase and coat, kissed Tyler on the cheek as her greetings of welcome home, then placed them nicely on their usual spot. 

“I missed you, babe!” Lexy greeted Marlyn, who was waiting for his turn to use the washroom.
