Jennet lifted her face and looked at her husband with teary eyes. Her voice broke into a muffled sob as she said, "Can we go home? I don't feel good."

Her body trembled, and she felt weak after encountering the emperor and experiencing strange memories in the water. Her mind and body were in shock.

Hue nodded and replied, "Sure, let's go home." He picked her up in his arms and looked at their twins.

"We're going home. Mommy needs to rest," he told them.

Arro and Arra followed their parents obediently back to their domain, without any fuss about their outing being cut short.

Later that evening, Kith visited their domain after receiving a summons from Hue. He discovered that Jennet had fallen ill with a high fever.

"Did she fall into the water?" asked the doctor as he ran several checks on her.

"I don't think so," replied Hue, with creased brows.
