Chapter 35

Inside the car, Jennet held the steering wheel tightly. Her heart burned with rage.

“It was rude. I tell you it was rude,” she voiced out her dissatisfaction. “I have never done something like that in my life!” A deep grunt cracked from the depth of her throat.

“Humph!” Hue grunted in his seat. He faced the window with a smug and pouty face, ignoring her.

“Do not make that sound with me!” She snapped at him. “Honking when people are having a conversation is very rude and, for goodness’ sake, she is someone elderly who we must respect. Why can’t you approach us and ask to leave politely? Did you not know anything about being polite?!”

He faced her and said proudly, “Yes, I know nothing about that!” Then, he looked away as pouty as ever.

Why would he care for such things? He lived longer than humans and, he had the authority to act as however, he wanted.
