Chapter 59 - The aftermath
Alice POV
I come back from the kitchen with two mugs full of coffee, and I place them both at the coffee table while Devin laughs about something on tv; he’s watching some reality tv crap. He’s distracted watching it while I count the minutes until Harry is home and back in my arms. I can’t shake this horrible feeling in my stomach about him meeting Karen. I know she’s got something up her sleeve, and I am scared about it. I am actually scared for Harry’s safety.
