Chapter 5 Hit the Acupoint

"Are these the long-lost Three-Talent Needles?"

Taking a look at the silver needles in his body, He Dongguang suddenly exclaimed regardless of his dignity.

And then, Lin Hao waved his hand again, just like what he did at the very beginning. He took back all three silver needles before anyone could see clearly what he did, after which, he turned to He Dongguang also in surprise.

"You really know something. Recognizing my trick, you surely deserve the honor of managing the hospital."

Hearing that, He Dongguang excitedly gasped for air and asked again, "Mister, did you really insert the Three-Talent Needles, which are long-lost in the Traditional Chinese Medicine circle, into me just now?"

Lin Hao quietly nodded again.

Leaving all confused colleagues behind, He Dongguang directly walked to hold Lin Hao's hands, as if he were an old father who first met his son's girlfriend.

"So... you must also know how to use Three-Light Needles?"

Once more, Lin Hao nodded quietly. He then said, "The term 'Three-Talent' refers to the heaven, the earth and the humankind, while ‘Three-Light’ talks about the sun, the moon and stars. Our ancestors integrated these elements into acupuncture so that they could complement each other. There is no reason why I should not skip the Three-Light Needle insertion method when I have learned how to use Three-Talent Needles."

"Mister, no, young man, can I ask who you learned this from?"

Noticing that He Dongguang became more curious about him, Lin Hao just puckered his face in a smile without answering.

However, He Dongguang didn't feel disappointed with Lin Hao's silence.

Because he knew it was rather impolite to ask a just-met man about his private information.

He Dongguang blushed as soon as he realized that, and so he quickly held Lin Hao's hands and smiled awkwardly, "Sorry. I'm sorry. Young man, please forgive my brusqueness..."

Lin Hao slightly shook his head and asked back with a smile, "President He, can you allow me to treat Xiyan now?"

"It...it may be a bit inappropriate...."

Having met so many people, Lin Hao could easily tell from He Donguang's look that he indeed saw the request as a tricky problem. He was truly responsible for his hospital, not deliberately being hard on Lin Hao.

But in the meantime, He Dongguang also looked a bit hesitant, which was hard to detect.

Roughly, Lin Hao could figure out what he was hesitant about.

Thus, Lin Hao put on a confident smile and asked with certainty, "President He, don't you want to know the optimal Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment for phenylketonuria?"

"Well, it is…"

As expected, He Dongguang became more hesitant after Lin Hao clearly pointed out the problem that troubled him.

After frowning for a while, He Dongguang continued slowly, "Young man, we're talking about phenylketonuria. Are you sure that we can overcome this disease with Traditional Chinese Medicine methods?"

"Do you think I'll put my daughter's life at risk?" Lin Hao raised his eyebrows and asked in reply.

Although not getting a clear answer, He Dongguang knew Lin Hao's words unquestionably dispelled his biggest doubt.

It was true that Lin Hao was Xiyan's birth father anyway!

How could it be possible for a father to take the risk of his daughter's life to do something that he was not sure about?

Nodding with determination after a moment's indecision, He Dongguang turned around and ordered other medical staff, "Ask doctors at and above the deputy director level in all departments to come here to learn from Mr. Lin, if they're free now!"

One doctor had guessed He Dongguang’s idea and tried to persuade him in a low voice, "President, I'm afraid...this is not appropriate."

"Cut the crap. I'm the one calling the shots here. This is a rare opportunity, so just run to notify them!"

He Dongguang looked back and impatiently urged people standing behind to take others here. But when turning to Lin Hao, he immediately wore a smile as if Lin Hao, a man much younger than him, were his close friend, "Young man, what kind of medical equipment or devices do you need?"

"Don't bother. My hands are enough."

Lin Hao rolled up his sleeves to swivel two hands that looked more flawless than those of pianists. And then he just pushed open the ward door, behind which the person meant a lot to him.

As long as pushing the door open, Lin Hao would finally know what the little girl of his and Lan's looked like.

It only took a second to open the door. However, Lin Hao felt like it had been through a few years.

Before walking into the ward, Lin Hao still hoped that Xiyan would look more like Lan. After getting in, he then felt his heart melt as soon as he saw that little girl who was lying in a coma on the hospital bed.

Despite the fact that the girl who was merely over five years old looked so pale and anyone would feel heartbroken, Lin Hao was still able to vaguely see Lan's facial features on her young face at the first sight.

In that way, she looked exactly like Lan, especially the curly eyelashes and high-bridged nose!

Instantly, Lan Hao, who was a tough guy in people’s eyes, could not stop tears from filling his eyes.

Before bursting into tears, Lin Hao rubbed his eyes to wipe tears away.

He walked to the bed excitedly. Taking a look at medical equipment that displayed Xiyan's physical indexes, he unplugged the transfusion system, sensors and other devices attached to his little girl with ease.

"President He, that's...!"

Among 20 or 30 doctors at and above the deputy director level, one tended to stop Lin Hao after seeing what he did, but was stopped by He Dongguan in time.

Remaining calm, he shook his head to everyone and asked them, "Didn't you see how he unplugged those devices? Haven't you noticed that he is more professional than most of us?"

"Well, it is…"

"But it's still too...."

Being satirized by He Dongguan, most doctors present suddenly recalled how Lin Hao unplugged devices. Indeed, they could tell from those details that he was highly professional.

But he didn't work here after all, even having no license. And Xiyan was a patient in the First People's Hospital. If anything happened to her, would it be the hospital that took the blame?

When everyone was trying hard to ask He Dongguang to stop Lin Hao, Lin Hao already learned more about Xiyan's health condition through her pulse.

Next, Lin Hao needed to give Xiyan a massage to skillfully dredge her blocked meridians before inserting needles into her.

Right at this time, a middle-aged man standing next to He Dongguang couldn't help but exclaim when seeing clearly what massage technique fully-concentrated Lin Hao used, which attracted almost all people's attention.

"He's...hitting her acupoint, a kind of massage technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine that we've only heard about but never seen!"
