I was woken up the next morning by a maid, and Jonathan was gone.

“Good morning, Ma. Mr. Jonathan told me to bring you breakfast before he left,” the maid told me politely as she dropped the tray of breakfast on the nightstand and quietly left the room.

I took my phone and saw that it was already 7 A.M. I also saw that Jonathan had sent me a message informing me that he was going back to work. He told the maid to wake me up early so that I could make it to work on time.
