Chapter 14 – Maeve, you are coming with me!

Maeve had known from the revelation of her past life how good Gabriel was at martial arts and wished for the argument to get intense so he would teach Dylan a lesson for her. She was happy about what happened last night.

Since she pretended to be affected by seeing Dylan laughing with Sandra, it saved her from the pretense of showing that she cared for him in front of Gabriel.

It hurt her when she saw Gabriel’s painful look the last time when she lied that Dylan was coming to pick her up and did not want to see it again.

Dylan came at the right time by Maeve’s timing. He was embarrassed at Gabriel chasing him out of his office, feeling that such power should belong only to him.

Sadly, Gabriel had all the power Dylan desired, and he was determined to snatch it one by one.

Gabriel’s weakness was an open book, and Dylan decided to use it as a weapon. He relaxed his back against the chair he sat on, crossed his legs, and said mockingly at Gabriel,

“If Maeve is welcome, then so am I.”
