Chapter 25 Fawning

Ned glared at his wife. He then turned to Darcy, who was mortified, and bowed apologetically.

“Ms. Quint, I am so sorry, please don’t turn yourself in or whatever. I should be punished for what I did to you, you have every right to hit me!”

He then slapped himself a few times.

Nara was stunned by her husband’s action but she dared not say a word. She knew her husband must have offended some powerful people.
