Chapter 4461 Just Crashing Here

Penulis: Five Generals
“Open the door! What’s with you? Why are you causing a ruckus in the middle of the night?”

Getting down to business, Agnes knocked on the door and raised her voice.

Disoriented from alcohol, Buffy could not understand why she heard knocking. Still, she stumbled to her feet and plodded toward the door.

Standing behind her mother, Darcy looked nervously at the door. She had no idea who would answer the door since Kaze and Dwight were living together. However, apparently, there was another girl in the apartment, and she did not know who the woman inside was involved with.

Agnes folded her arms and waited. For all she knew, the person inside could be too scared to open the door, so she impatiently knocked on the door again.

“Now you’re scared, huh? Open up and explain yourself! What’s with the yelling late at night?”

Agnes asserted her authority, ready to make the girl pay for the late-night fuss. The matter was far from over.

“Maybe we should forget it, Mom,” Darcy persuaded

“Since you already have another woman, you should stop approaching my daughter. You two don’t belong.” Agnes glanced at the woman on the sofa in disdain, finding that she and Kaze were perfect for one another. She, unaware of Buffy’s identity, found Buffy pretty tacky and had the wrong perception of her. She believed Kaze was classless to fancy a woman who dressed indecently. “We should go, Mom. Just stop.” Darcy was in a foul mood. However, she noticed the scowl on Kaze’s face. It was clear to Darcy that Buffy belonged to the elite society since she was the chairwoman of Gwake Corporation. Still, Darcy was not keen on saying anything. “This is your last warning. We need a quiet rest. We don’t care what you do. Just keep it down.” Agnes felt better after tearing Kaze down. However, she looked at Kaze warily. Sure enough, she did not trust Kaze. She had reason to believe that Kaze had an ulterior motive in approaching Darcy. Kaze kept to himself because he had no words t

Darcy’s silence rubbed Agnes the wrong way. “I’ll get you a maid tomorrow. I’ll make sure your needs are met,” Darcy said absent-mindedly, her thoughts still with Kaze. “I’ll sort out hiring a maid service. You gave me a bank card anyway. I’ll handle this. “But you should keep my advice in mind,” Agnes uttered, displeased that Darcy was distracted. Darcy was not inclined to respond to her mother. Agnes was rather naggy. “Hey, I’m talking to you. Why aren’t you saying anything?” Darcy’s behavior struck Agnes as odd. Her daughter kept staring into blank space since they got back. “Nothing. I’m just tired.” Darcy looked up at Agnes in exhaustion. Agnes was a pain. Yet, nothing Darcy said could get through to her. Agnes drained Darcy’s energy the moment she came to Westeros. “I don’t see why you’re tired. You don’t do much at work anyway. All you did was have dinner with me,” Agnes said without a care, dismissing Darcy’s claim to exhaustion. As someone capable and int

“Stop it. Here’s a hot towel. You can give yourself a good wipe down.” Kaze handed a hot towel to Buffy. His intention was for her to clean the mess off her clothes. The towel was good for removing the vomit, but the stench lingered. Kaze was going to give her a change of clothes. Nevertheless, Buffy was drunk. She was not lucid enough in mind to be conscious of her actions. Additionally, there were boundaries between men and women, so such behavior was not considered appropriate. Most importantly, Kaze did not have any women’s clothing in his place. He would need to arrange for a delivery and, even better, a caregiver. Kaze felt a headache coming on as Buffy lay there unconscious. He had no idea who to turn to. Mainly, he did not want to give anyone the wrong idea. With a hot towel in her hand, Buffy mumbled under her breath while her motions were sluggish and uncertain. She looked like she did not know what she was doing. She plopped on the floor by the couch, he

“I should give a good telling-off once she sobers up. She shouldn’t drink recklessly. She’s bound to get in trouble at this rate,” Kaze commented while staring at Buffy. Buffy was rash. There were times when she looked smart. However, she just did the most ridiculous thing. The driver behind the wheel kept looking, feeling uneasy about the situation. Nevertheless, he gathered from Kaze’s remark that he was close to the girl. “Is she your girlfriend? Why is she so drunk? She should know her limit.” “She’s a friend. I didn’t expect her to be intoxicated. I don’t know where she lives, so I’m taking her back to my place,” Kaze felt the need to explain to avoid any misunderstandings. “There’s a hotel nearby. Why don’t you take her to a hotel? It’s safer for her. I don’t think she’d leave the hotel on her own accord since she had too much to drink.” The driver was a nice guy to give the suggestion. “Nah. I have a roommate living with me. She can have my room. I’ll have a proper

“I’m afraid that’s not going to happen. I’ve invited your friend to stay the night with me. We are pretty tight. You must have gotten the wrong idea,” the guy in a patterned shirt replied, his voice laced with arrogance. The girl was unconscious anyway. There was no way she could refute him. All he had to say was that they had met and were seeing where things went. Even if there was an issue, the whole thing was justifiable. “She can’t stay here today,” Kaze said curtly. “You’re a strange man. Who are you to the girl? Are you dating?” The man in a patterned shirt grew impatient as enough time was wasted. He thought he could get rid of Kaze by offering some money, but the latter was not into cash. It was rather unusual. In the past, his offer would make the men leave their female companions. The man in a patterned shirt and his friends would always get the girls. It was a different story today. Kaze was uncooperative. “She’s my friend. We’re not dating,” Kaze replied
