Chapter 2

I was still thinking of how to approach the matter when I saw my boss passing through. I hesitated to call him to talk but I have to do it anyways, the sooner the better.

I made up my mind to talk to him, so I rushed towards him to speak to him. Seeing me approaching and calling out to him, he only slowed down but didn't really stop.

"Sir, I need to talk to you" I said as I followed behind him.

Mr Edward is my boss, his interest has always been towards money, he didn't hold much respect for women. If my records weren't outstanding he wouldn't have considered giving me the job. He doesn't believe I should be here working with them but I make good money for him so he overlooks it.

"What are you doing? She's waiting, you shouldn't keep her waiting" he said to me with a frown showing he is displeased

My heart skipped a beat seeing him like that but then I reminded myself that I had no choice so I have to push forward.
