~WILLOW

My skin tingled as his hot breath hit me.

I almost shivered at the warmth radiating from his body. His scent filled my nose and made it hard for me to concentrate.

"Who?" I asked in a whisper.

"Who else?"

And it clicked in my head.

Axel Hale.

What a fucking pervert!

"Since he's so eager to spy on us... Let's give him a good show," River answered.

Without warning, he began to pepper light kisses on my left shoulder. I shivered at the warmth it provoked within me.

My wolf danced dange

I feel as if the wolf isn't much of a character. It lacks depth and just screams and shrieks in some weird and juvenile pantomime of arousal. It's not even comic relief at this point.

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   78. THE CONFRONTATION

~WILLOWI flinched away from him immediately and glared at him with nothing but anger in my eyes. I was not the only one who was irritated. My wolf was too as she stood strong within me."How do you know River just left? Have you been spying on him?" I demanded with narrowed eyes. For a moment, he froze before he came back to his usual narcissistic self. Or perhaps it was just in my head. "This is my house, Willow. I know about everyone who enters and leaves the building," he stated. I scoffed. "Axel, if I remember correctly, you have a very bad memory. I used to be the one doing all your homeworks and pack paperworks." "You—" "So you can't actually remember to store up all that information!" I completed. He gritted his teeth hard as he glared at me. "You think you are untouchable now, all high and mighty, don't you?" "You said it yourself. So it must be true," I retorted. He scoffed. "Willow, you will eventually come crawling back to me in the end." "Repeating this line a h

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   77. THE OTHER WOMAN

~WILLOWI was beyond worried as I chased after River. He was so fast that I could barely find him anywhere right after stepping out of the kitchen. I stared around helplessly, trying to guess which way he might have gone. ‘Outside, maybe?’ My wolf suggested. I nodded once and started running as fast as I could. It was hard because I was already breathing heavily. By the time I walked out into the quadrangle, I found River standing with one hand against one of the walls, while the other grabbed his chest. I could hear his heavy yet short breaths from here and it terrified me. What could have happened to have him react this way? I didn't know whether it was right for me to go to him. Would I be barging in? It seemed like he wanted to be alone. Yet it didn't sit right with me, leaving me alone like this. ‘Go to him. He needs us,’ she whispered within me. So I released a shaky breath and quietly walked to him. When I got close enough, I just shut my hands out and wrapped my hand

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   76. THE OLD ROOM

~RIVERThe door creaked open before us. The smell of stale air instantly escaped the dimly lit room and I squeezed my eyes shut. A few seconds later, I opened them once again and walked into the space. I heard Willow's soft footsteps falling behind me, reminding me that I was not alone. Ice stirred gently within me too. I switched on the lights and the room was instantly illuminated. I stopped to take in the place. It looked exactly as I had left it. The old small bed against the wall, the small study opposite my bed, a small closet to the side and a door which led into the bathroom. I gritted my teeth as echoing sounds of the past started threatening to consume me. ‘You will starve as punishment for your stupidity!’ ‘How dare you try to outshine your little brother?’ ‘You are worthless. Don't you dare try to dream big!’ Delilah's voice rang back like it was stuck in a loophole meant to torment me. I tried to shut her out, to forget... But I kept finding myself right back in

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   75. THE CLASH

~WILLOWI could swear I saw Delilah stiffen. She remained like that for a few seconds before loosening up again. Then she narrowed her eyes on him. "What a bold condition, River..." she sneered. "I remember you said you'd never stay another night in this house." River shrugged. "Decisions change." I looked up at him, hoping to read his facial expression but he was wearing that blank face as usual. It made it impossible to tell what he was thinking. So I gave up and faced Delilah instead. Unlike River, I was able to see a hint of amusement and mischief in her eyes. This was a reminder not to let my guard down around her for even a second. "Mother, if the man wants to move back in, let him. He's probably missed the luxuries the Pack House has to offer and he doesn't know how to admit it," Axel cut in. I rolled my eyes at this. What a fool. Always seeing things from a narrowminded place. To think that I would be stuck here for the next six days, with constant possibilities of r

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   74. TO PARTICIPATE

~WILLOWAn involuntary shiver ran down my spine as I stared at her. My wolf shifted uncomfortably within me; a clear warning that she could not be trusted. "The only people allowed to participate in the Grand Prayer are family members of the Alpha House," I stated. Her smile never fell from her face. She kept her piercing green eyes on me. "Aren't you already part of the family?" He asked instead before releasing a soft chuckle. I looked up at River and he only stared, no explanations. "Please sit and let us discuss like civilized wolves," she concluded. Then she gestured at one of the standby maids. The petite maid came forward and poured her a glass of clear wine. She took a sip and nodded at the maid. It was only then that the maid came over to us and offered us the same thing that the Luna was drinking. "Thank you," I muttered. She bowed in response before moving to River. "Dear sweet Willow..." Luna Delilah began again. "You do remember how River publicly announced yo

  • HANDS OFF MY PLUS-SIZE LUNA   73. SUMMONED BY HER

~WILLOWThis couldn't be good. The last time she spoke to me was to threaten me into entering the Perfect pair Games. Now this? Why could she possibly want now? "Did she say why?" River demanded. "No, sir. She only ordered that we bring her as soon as possible," the guards answered. I guess there was no running from it and on the bright side, River wouldn't have to trouble himself with how I would get to the Pack house. "Can I at least freshen up first?" I asked. "I'm afraid that won't be possible. She asked that we—" "Willow, go in and take as much time as you please," River suddenly cut in. "B— but Sir, we have to—" "Do you dare to oppose my command?" River cut in, his voice dropping to the coldest I had heard it in a while. I swallowed hard at this and didn't dare to protest. An involuntary shiver ran down my spine as I looked from him to the guard. "No, Sir. We will wait for as long as it takes," he answered. Then River faced him. "Go on, Willow." I noticed how his
