Olivia pov
I was peacefully sleeping when the sun rays woke me up with a yelp of irritation. Slowly opening my eyes, I sat up on the bed and grabbed my head. Damn, my head is hurting. I reached for my phone to check the time and my eyes widened. It's 9 am already, and breakfast is waiting downstairs. If I'm late, Dad will start his lecture again. I fastly got up and went straight to the washroom. I freshen myself before going downstairs. “ Good morning” I say hesitantly, seeing all of them sitting waiting for me. Hearing me dad look at me. “What's wrong with you, should I have to remind you to always come on time? '' he said angrily, making me look down as mom shook her head in disappointment. I slowly sit beside James. He looks normal. I mean he doesn't look angry. I shake all my thoughts away. I take some bread and some scramble eggs and start eating my breakfast. “ Stop behaving like an irresponsible kid, your marriage is fixed so behave mature” dad said making me frown my eyes as I looked at him in confusion. "You're eating it wrong, you're supposed to take a bite of bread first and then the eggs,” mom said while singing, making me look at my plate. I close my eyes in frustration. "Well, since you've already arranged my marriage, don't tell me how to eat. I'll eat however I want," I said. While putting some eggs on my bread and taking a big bite. Seeing me James smirk as he also does the same making dad blood boil in anger. Mom fastly grabs dad's hands indicating to him to stop. Gladly it works. The dining area went silent. Until he speaks again. “ Whatever, you both be ready tonight at 8 pm David is coming here for dinner” dad said making my eyes widen as James was also in shock. “ We both invited him so please be on time” mom said with a smile only making my blood boil, that jerk is really checking my patience. I look at James “ what's his company name” I ask in an irritated voice making him fully confused. “ What company?” he asked, making the grip of my spoon tighten. “ David's company name James,” I said. Pushing the word james. Seeing me he gulped before saying. “ Company name is DazzleLux , this could offer luxury event planning services, high-end interior design consultations, or exclusive fashion styling serv” I cut him off. “ Not asking for his bio data you idiot” I said as I stood up in anger and left my house. I think he needs some good talk. I called the driver and sat in the car immediately “ Drive to DazzleLux company”. I said. Hearing me, the driver nodded and fastly started the car. After good damn minutes we finally reached. Driver stopped the car. I get out of the car and look at the building. That building is just breathtaking! The grand pillars at the entrance give it such a majestic feel, and the way the sunlight dances off the glass windows is simply mesmerising. The intricate details on the facade make it look like a work of art, blending modern sophistication with timeless beauty. I realise my breath seeing the beautiful sight in front of me. I must be denying the fact that he is too rich for this. I shrug my thoughts as I enter inside the building. From inside the building is more beautiful. I straight go towards the receptionist “Umm hey can you tell me where David Dawason cabin is” I ask her. Hearing me she passed me a smile. "On the fifth floor, turn right, his office is the first one," she informs me, prompting a nod from me. "But why do you need to see--" I cut her off, quickly making my way to the fifth floor. As I reach the fifth floor, I follow the receptionist's directions and turn right. The corridor is lined with polished wooden doors. I pause for a moment outside the door, I sigh. Before entering inside without a knock. I entered inside only to see David. My breath stops. Seeing the view in front of me. White shirt, rolled-up sleeves, visible tattooed veins on his hand and a sharp jawline, grabbing the file with a serious face. Looking so hot, so perfect for me. I am looking at him until his eyes lock into mine. I gulped hard as he frowned his eyes. Suddenly a voice echoed in the cabin. “ Sorry sir, she entered without telling us,” the receptionist said while taking a deep breath. I roll my eyes as David looks at me for a minute before speaking “ you may leave i take care of this” he said in a manly tone making her nodded. She closed the door leaving both of us all alone. “ Entering in the ceo cabin without permission is bad manners, didn't your dad tell you that” David said while putting his file back to the table making me frustrated. As I went towards him slapping my hands on his table “ stop playing games David” I said in a serious tone making him scoff. “ I don't have time to play with kids,” he said while standing up from his chair. Making me look at him. “ Why do you say yes to this marriage?” I ask looking straight at him. He looked at me as a smirk took place on his face. “ Because I love you” he said innocently, making me chuckle. “ Cut the crab a man like you can never love someone so come on the point. I know you are marrying me for a deal” I said while going towards him. Hearing me he frowned his eyes before touching my hair softly. I look at him in confusion. “ Smart kid. You are right, it's just a deal so don't think too much , no need to act like an ideal wife” he said, Sarcasm dripping from his tongue. “ I prefer to marry a dog instead of you old men,” I said in an angry tone. Making his jaw tighten in anger. Seeing him I smile. But soon he managed to cover it with a smile to. “ Sadly a dog can't fuck you and And trust me, I won't either, unless you kneel down and beg me to fuck you hard. " he whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. He took a step back, placing one hand in his pocket. Before sitting on his chair. Anger rushed down on me, “ letting you touch me is not gonna happen in thousands of lifes” I said before leaving his office. I sigh in anger. What the hell he thinks of himself. I am not a toy that he can use me for his shitty deal. I curse under my breath. Suddenly my phone buzzed only to see Sofia is calling. I answer the call. “ Hello,” I said. “ Olivia what you are wearing in today's party” Sofia said, making me confused. “ What party?” I ask, only to get a annoying grown from the phone. “ Don't tell me you forgot that today we have to go to Alex 's birthday party,” she said in a pissed off tone. Making my eyes close. I am going to say something when realisation hits me. How can I go to a birthday party?. David is going to come home for dinner. But who cares, waiting for that asshole is better than enjoying a birthday party. “No, I don't forget that it's just. I am busy. Well, I am coming to your home. Let's decide together what to wear” I said. Making her scream throw the phone. “ Okay come fast,” she said, making me smile. I cut the call and went straight to Sofia's house.David pov Andrew shouted, "What are you doing?" just as I landed a solid punch to his face. The impact reverberated through the room, and he crashed onto the table, fear washing over him like a tidal wave. I wasn’t about to let him off the hook easily, not with my girl lying in a hospital bed, barely clinging to life. The image of her pale face haunted me, fueling my rage. I yanked his collar, glaring into his eyes, which were wide with a mix of shock and terror. "I warned you, didn’t I? I told you not to cross the line, especially not with her."The words dripped with venom as I followed up with another punch, this time to his nose. Blood spilled out, painting a stark contrast against his pale skin. The metallic scent filled the air, mingling with the adrenaline coursing through my veins. Thankfully, it was just the two of us in the house; if anyone else had been around, I wouldn’t have cared. I was beyond reason, driven by a primal instinct to protect what was mine.He gasped, "Wha
Olivia pov I gradually open my eyes, feeling a sharp pain in my right hand. As I turn to my side, I notice the nurse is busy filling up a glucose bag. A sleepy moan escapes my lips when I realise David isn’t here. Where could he be? Ugh, he must be crammed into that tiny bed. I let out a sigh and asked the nurse, "When can I go home?" She looks at me and replies with a smile, "Today," before heading out. Great, now I’m stuck here alone. I really need to hit the bathroom. Taking a deep breath, I push myself up. Guess it’s time for a solo trip to the washroom. I grab the nearest lamp that’s sitting by the machines and use all my strength to move. They’ve had me in this cold water for way too long, and I feel like I’m starving. No wonder my legs, hands, and pretty much my whole body feel so numb that I can barely walk. Where’s David? I glance at the door again, but it’s still empty. With another deep breath, I take a step forward, then another, letting out little screams with each ste
Olivia pov I can feel the chill against my skin, my eyes are shut tight, and I’m lying on the bed. I’m not sure where I am, but I guess it’s a hospital since I can hear the machines beeping around me. Slowly, I crack my eyes open and find myself staring at a spinning fan right above me. As I turn my head, I notice needles stuck in my hand, and I’m dressed in a hospital gown. My heart sinks. I try to push myself up but end up collapsing back down. “What are you doing?” a voice calls out. I glance to my side and see David sitting on the couch. He stands up when he sees me, and he looks so different—his eyes are tired, his face is dull, and he seems completely drained, like he’s just existing without really living. With all my strength, I manage to sit up, and he watches me from a distance. Our eyes meet, and we don’t say a word; we just silently communicate how empty we feel without each other. “I love you,” the words slip out before I can stop them. He looks at me, confused. “F
David pov "Take that outside," I said, frowning. "But it's just a wallet." He shook his head at me. "Drop it outside," he replied in a cold tone, making me comply. Rhys had trained his bodyguard well. I set my wallet aside as the guard started checking me again. I waited patiently, eager to get this over with because Olivia's parents and her brother, who is also my childhood friend, had no idea she was missing. It’s not that I don’t want them to know; I’m just too swamped with their so-called drama. That’s why I asked my mom to fill them in, so Andrew could get a sense of what’s going on. Trust me, if anything happens to Olivia, I’m going to take that bastard down hard. "All done," the guard said, leading me to Rhys's office. I walked slowly, taking in the mansion—it was a bit bigger than mine. I was pretty sure there was a basement where they were keeping Olivia. The blue walls with grey shades gave off a really dull vibe. How long do I have to match his slow pace? How long until
Olivia pov The icy water hit me, jolting me awake as I gasped for air, my eyes snapping open to nothing but darkness. Panic surged through me as the memory of what happened flooded back— Fuckk, I’ve been kidnapped. My head throbbed painfully, and my body felt completely numb from the cold water soaking me. I was tied to a wooden chair that reeked of something dead—let’s just say it's an animal, because thinking otherwise would freak me out even more. My mind raced with questions, but no answers came. I could hear faint laughter in the background, and just as I felt myself slipping away again, the lights flickered on, revealing the grim reality of my situation. It took a moment for my eyes to adjust, and I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. I was in a basement—dimly lit, with a bloody smell and an overall horror vibe, the kind of place where people get tortured or worse. And now it seemed like it was my turn. I spotted three muscular goons who had barged into my house. “L
David pov The sound of my kick echoed through the room as I smashed the door open, sending it crashing onto the marble floor. "Where the hell were you guys when all this went down?" I yelled, my voice booming enough to make my bodyguards flinch. The chaos that greeted me in my own home was a sight I never wanted to see. And Olivia fuckkkkkkk.Furniture was overturned, shattered glass littered the floor, and the air was thick with the stench of fear and desperation. My heart raced as I thought of Olivia—was she safe? The thought of her being with Ryan's crew sent a wave of nausea through me."Sir, we weren't here when it happened. Only four of our guys were, and they're already dead," one of my bodyguards replied, his voice trembling slightly. I could see the fear in his eyes, and it only fueled my anger. I slammed my fist on the nearest table in frustration, the wood splintering under the force of my blow. That’s when I noticed it—a dark, dried stain of blood on the floor that sent
