The fairy kingdom
The two went to that river after leaving the Trolls, they wanted to see for themselves the sirens they were talking about, the leader of the Trolls sent one of them after the king, he said that is would be an honor if one of them got to be by the king’s side serving him. According to him a king being close to a bloodsucker like that would bring another war to the supernatural beings.
The Troll that was sent was walking behind Luka and Ambrosia, hiding behind trees and rocks so that he cannot be seen. Little did he know that they knew he followed the moment they felt because they smelled his scent behind them but decided to ignore him. When they got to the river, it was beautiful, peaceful with clean running water.

Kendra opted to walk when she got close to other fairies, she didn’t want anyone seeing her wings, she walked fast as her wings swept the ground behind her, she did not care. One of the downfalls of being a fairy was that when they find their mates everyone could see from their wings, they harden, mature and the original color darken. Everyone could see when the other has found their mate.Princess Kendra was not worried about that though, she was worried about her so called mate, he was a flower killing werewolf and no fairy had ever been mated to a wolf. On the way Luka was quiet, his wolf was restless, it was not giving him rest and it wanted to go back to its mate. Ambrosia expected that this would happen and he was not about to tell his master that his wolf was right. He wanted to let him figure it out by himself. When they got back to the Snow Palace, Ambrosia showed the Troll and Kendra to the west wing of the palace. The west wing was the part of the palace that was closest to the forest and Kendra like it the most compared to the cold side. She could not bear the cold as her kingdom is always warm, never snows there but there is rain. Each wing of the palace was equipped with everything one would need.For that reason, it was hard for them to see each other and Kendra was lonely. She yearned for the presence of other fairies then if her mate did not want to be with her. Niko, the Troll tried everything he could to cheer her up but nothing worked. When they arrived, Niko warned her against going to the forest as her presence there will bring upon changes that may anger the king.

After Luka took Kendra back to the west wing and told her to rest. He went back into the forest, he was frustrated by what just happened, he was weak and he gave into that weakness, he hated that. He trained for hours in the woods without stopping, he was trying to get rid of the thoughts of him marking her, he wanted to stop feeling like she was still holding him.He wanted to get rid of her sweet scent on him, he felt that if trained and hard and sweated enough, the sweat will get rid of her scent but it did not work. He could still smell her all over him, her scent would not go away, his wolf was happy and Balthazar was indifferent. Ambrosia stood in the window watching the gate waiting for him, he had finished making food a long time ago and wondered why he has not returned.

It was in the early hours of the morning and ambrosia had just gotten to bed. When a gate opened, no one heard it but because the others were still sleeping, a car drove in and stopped in front of the door. Next, there was banging on the main door, Luka jumped out of bed and went running downstairs. He opened the door angry that this person was knocking on his door like this early in the morning.When he opened the door, a hand collided with his cheek. Slap! He had been slapped, he was still dizzy not knowing what was going on, he shook his head then opened his eyes and they widened. “Move out of the way you stupid child!” his mother shoved him aside and went inside. He was left standing at the door looking at her back as she went further into the palace.

Collin and Luka trained till late in the evening. Ambrosia also woke up and went to join them. Niko also went but he was not training, he was lazy by nature so he told them that he will just and bring them water if they wanted any but he was not the training type. Mercy and Kendra were busy getting to know each other while they were making dinner. Katherine also arrived during the day after Mercy called her to come and see Luka’s mate. She missed her grandson anyway so she was more than happy to go and visit. They were all busy getting to know each other, Mercy asked Kendra to call her parents and invite them over so that they can have dinner together. They agreed and were due to arrive just before dinner.

Dinner was going well and everyone seemed to be getting along just fine. Even though the conversation was among all the other people present besides Ambrosia, Luka, and Collin. They would answer what they are being asked then go back to focusing on the food on Luka and his father's mind linking. Ambrosia found his phone and glass of warm blood more interesting than anything else.Niko on the other side was having the time of their life, laughing and talking to the fairy king. Mercy, Katherine, Laura, and Kendra as well. One would never tell that these people have only just met. After that dinner, Mercy and Katherine went back to Black Moon pack. Also, the fairy king and queen, Kendra’s parents went back. They had made arrangements to send the word out to other species they know as the king requested. Niko also contacted his leader to do the same on his side, word was sent out too to Ambrosia’s clan.Luka, Ambrosia, Niko, and Collin. Were left preparing for the arrival of the guests, the main hall was big enough to accommodate all the leaders, Luka was not sure all of them will come but Ambrosia told him that people will come because they are curious and would want to see for themselves the king the prophecy spoke of. Collin did not care if they came or not.
