I don’t know for how long I have been walking but I know for a fact that I am near my destination. The night is already over the sky and I am thinking of spending the night just outside the walls of the nightshade park. Before I left the aqua blade, the master tells me the alpha of the park is not just an alpha but a Lycan king. A kind of fear grips me but what can I do? I am between the devil and the deep blue sea.

With a lot going on in my mind, I lower myself at the foot of the tree as I begin to examine my body. Walking in between shrubs and trees, I sustain a lot of minor injuries but it is nothing compared to the pain in my heart. The thought of the master and his rejection continues to haunt me and I can not escape from it no matter what.

My attention is drawn to a little rustle between the bushes and before I can say or do anything, two Eeriuffi rushes up to me and grabs me by the hand before pinning me to the ground.

    IMOGEN’s POV.With one last glance at the mirror, we both make our way out of the room towards the area for the ceremony.The mark and mate ceremony is one that allows the male and the female to create an eternal bond with each other.With each passing moment, I feel the tension build up inside of me.
