SAME STREET, RICHARD'S PLACE*

He kissed her again, but the ringing of his phone made him break it.

He took the phone and frowned a bit when he saw it's Hyce.

He picked immediately.

"Yes?"

"Come to Circus area, ASAP!" Hyce said urgently said hung up.

"Are you leaving? But I thought we'd be spending the night together again... Don't go" Pearl hugged him with a pout.

"It's pretty bad and urgent, Noah." he said.

"How bad?" She probed.

"You don't have to know, I'll handle everything, just wait for me" he replied.

"No. I'll go home" she replied getting down from the bed.

She entered the bathroom like she's pissed. She had a quick bath and dressed up in his clothes again, then they both left the Loft on his bike.

She didn't try to say a word to him throughout the drive, and he returned the energy.

She came down from the bike and waltzed into the house.

Roonie retrieved his phone and texted her immediately.

Roonie: You look fuçking cute when you're mad at me. Keep it up, brat.

He smiled after sending, then he pocketed the phone and drove away.

Pearl immediately came out of the house again, grunting silently as she stared at the message.

"I hate him" she muttered.

"No you don't" Sybil whispered behind her, and she jumped.

"You scared me!"

"Did you guys end the date with a fight?" Sybil said and sniffed the air.

"Smells like sèx... Did you shag?" She asked suspiciously, and Pearl's cheeks reddened.

Sybil gasped.

"Oh my gawd! My cousin did it!"

Pearl quickly rushed in.

"Gist me Pearl! Pearl!!!" Sybil ran after her as Emory rushed over the stairs.

Mr. Wilson had to catch up with last night's work at the office so he's still not back, but Tate is around.

She's in her room, deep in thoughts on her bed when her phone rang.

Her heart jumped, and she grabbed it. It's the number.

She got down from the bed, pacing around as she swiped green.

"Hey sweetheart" Richard's voice came, and her body stiffened fearfully.

"What exactly do you want from me?" She breathed.

"I think I already told you... Let's fûck again" Richard replied with a laugh.

"That'll be over my dead body, Richard. I'm not making the same mistake again!" She folded her second hand nervously.

"Are you scared? Don't worry, we both know I'm infertile so no matter how much I cûm inside you, you won't get pregnant" Richard laughed.

"You wild animal!!!" Tate screamed, wiping the tear in her eyes.

Richard laughed out, the sound chilly.

"Await my comeback, Tate. I can't wait to see your husband cry!" Richard threatened and hung up.

Tate sat gently in bed, trying to calm her breaths as they came fast with her heartbeats.

The door opened, and Mr. Wilson came in, just returning from work.

"Are you ok? Tate" he asked immediately, and she stood, walking fast to him.

She hugged him, and he reciprocated.

"Are you ok?" He asked again.

"Yeah... I just missed you" she replied, and he smiled, tightening the hug.

SAME STREET, RICHARD'S PLACE*

The house is opposite Wilson's mansion, and there are over fifty tenants in the four storey building, but Richard is in the uppermost floor.

He's standing by his glass wall right now, holding a glass of whiskey as he stared at Wilson's mansion.

The ice in his cup was clanking with the glass as he swirled the drink, his mind going back in time.

YEARS AGO*

Richard Wilson and Adrian Wilson (Pearl's dad) are the eldest heirs of the genius Carson family.

No jokes, everyone in the family is a genius, but it's like the genius genes eluded Adrian.

Adrian is not as smart as Richard, and that's why the family company (Axel enterprises) was passed down to Richard despite the fact that Adrian is older.

Richard ran the company accordingly, but the money management failed cos he's a manwhore who spends everything on females.

Adrian hates him for this, but he kept his cool till Richard got a hospital report one day.

Richard didn't believe, so he went for the test again, but it's still the same.

He's infertile, meaning his sperm can't fertilize a woman's egg.

He won't be able to make a family, he won't have his own child.

Immediately he got the news, his brother Adrian was the first person he ran to.

At that period, Adrian was just preparing to marry Tate.

Richard got to Adrian's doorstep and was about to open up when he heard a conversation ongoing inside.

It's Adrian, talking to the hospital doctor on phone.

"It's his luck, doctor. I talked to him a lotta times but he took my words for trash. I'm even glad it came to this" Adrian said, and Richard gritted his jaws.

"Yeah... I don't care if he can produce kids or not. Richard's life is different from mine. I have to tell this to father as soon as possible. An infertile boy can't continue leading the company astray. I'm taking over"

Richard left the door after he heard that last statement, anger and fury boiling inside him like lava.

His infertility is not a bother to Adrian? All he's concerned about is the company?
