ANNABELLE'S DINNER*

Edward left in his car, then Pearl and Roonie journeyed back to her car in front of the station.

She was about to get on the driver's seat when he snatched the key from her.

Without arguing, she got on the passenger seat, and he started the drive.

He barely drove for three minutes when questions started prickling her, and she might just die if she doesn't ask, so she proceeded.

"Did you...kill the five students?" She asked softly.

"Your friends didn't tell you that part?" He replied so easily.

"Why would you even kill cos of me?" She said, pinching herself hard.

"Even if it's your parents who fuçked up, I'll kill them without remorse. I was made to protect you, not my fault I was built differently" he replied, sparing her a glance.

Their eyes met.

"Why are you protecting me?" She muttered.

He didn't answer that question, he just concentrated on the drive again.

This is exactly how his father was driving that day before the accident that took the life of his sister and broke his father's leg.

He remembered vividly.

His five years old version was sitting at the car backseat with his sister, Master X was driving them to the academy where they always go to learn fighting.

He sat sadly in his black clothes without uttering a word, and his sister was trying to cheer him up by bribing him with some of her toys, but he just wasn't having it, then his sister started crying.

"What did you do to her, Roonie?" Master X looked back at them, and that was it

That little distraction made their car collide with another car...

"Roonie!"

"Roonie!!" Pearl's voice brought him back to the present, and he turned his head to see that he stopped the car in the middle of the road already, causing congestion.

He quickly drove off the road, and Pearl won't stop staring at him till he arrived at the Loft.

He got out of the car, and she rushed out too.

"Hey!" She quickly pulled him back by the arm.

He stayed blank, and she awkwardly bit her lip.

"Stop doing that shit in front of me" he said with a dip on his brows.

"Whatever... thanks for saving me from The Titans... A lot" she said, and a small knowing smile appeared on his pouty lips.

"Pay up" he said.

"Must you always take payment?" She made faces.

"Obviously" his lips curled.

"What do you want?" She muttered.

"Dress up in shorts and a tube top tomorrow. I wanna see you in heels, and i want your hair straightened" he said without blinking.

She did the blinking.

"Are you kidding? Me? Have you ever seen me wear all that before? Stop being...

He already cornered her before she could finish that, and she backed the car as he rested his palms on the car body, right above her head.

He had to lean down to her level cos of his excess tallness, and she had to look up, resting her palms on the car body too behind herself.

"Tomorrow" he muttered, his clean minty breath assaulting her face.

"You didn't do that to Jeremy, tell me" she replied.

"Find out yourself" he poked her nose with his pointer finger, and she made faces as he left the car body, walking into the Loft without looking back.

She smiled slightly before getting back in her car, driving off.

ANNABELL'S DINNER*

The dinner has been ongoing for ten minutes without a word from anybody, but it's sure that the moment anyone talks, it'd blow up real bad.

Axel is sitting opposite Rebekah, and he's barely eating his food.

He kept smirking, and she kept scoffing.

She's just glad that no one in school is aware of their relationship, it'd have been heavy.

She took her wine glass to drink from, and the king finally spoke.

"You should learn from Axel. He's one of the top 5 in your year, and he doesn't belong in any club like you, Rebekah" he said, looking at her.

Rebekah scoffed again before dropping her cup.

"Doesn't belong in any club? Garbage!"

"You're talking to his Majesty, learn some respect it won't hurt" Elsa spoke.

"I'll do that if he stops this new game of comparing me with Axel! I'm Rebekah! I'm my mother's daughter!" Rebekah snapped.

"Stop talking about her, Bekah. Your mother is dead!" The king snapped back, and tears spring from Rebekah's eyes.

"I'm out" she stood, grabbed her purse and stormed out of the dinner.

"I'll talk to her" Axel went after her, catching up in front of the building.

He pulled her back by the arm, but she broke free immediately.

"Let go of me, cûnt!" She fired, wiping her tears.

Axel snickered.

"Look I don't want my mother in your family either. She's a gold digger and even if someone is gonna take your mother's place, it can't be her" he said.

"What do you mean?" She sniffled.

"We can work together to ruin the upcoming wedding" he stretched his hand for a handshake, and she smirked.

"Not interested"

She left, leaving Axel to chuckle before inserting his hands in his pockets.
