175. Who's Next? Pt1

ALPHA KAIRO.

After Catherine confirmed that Brook was okay and that we should let Amber rest, we all gathered outside her suite to check on everyone to make sure no one was too drained to function. It seemed we had an all-clear except for Catherine.

It was not surprising, since she was the one who exerted effort to ensure that Brook would not repel the energy we were passing on to her. So, Tyler took her to Zach’s packhouse so she could rest, while the others went home to attend to their own matters; however, they requested an update on Amber, Brook, and their pup to confirm if they were truly out of danger.

After things had calmed down and the others had gone to the cafeteria for breakfast, I nudged Cameron to join me on the rooftop of this building to smoke.

We were already heading to the fire exit when I spotted Cassidy, who hadn’t smiled since she found out what happened to Amber. I could tell she was worried for Brook as well as fearing for her wolf.
