I couldn't breathe, I felt like I was choking, burning, and dying all at once. Ace looks indifferent. For the first time, I couldn't read his face, or guess what was going through his mind. Fire again, for the millionth time, someone has attempted to kill me by fire, just like Mama had prophesied.

"I will die by flames, one day, they will consume me, and I will not be saved because it is my punishment for looking like the devil."

That catches Ace's attention because he starts backing orders at people around us, screaming for them to get moving. Right in front of us, were two burning cars, harbouring eight men who were employed to protect me, though I didn't like any of them, they didn't deserve to die. I don't fight Ace again when he hugs me, whispering words of encouragement to me.

"Ryker men would meet us halfway, Luckily, Jake sent backup when he saw the video."

Ace frowns, and I look at both of them confused. "Are we being threatened on a video?" Someone should
